Today's weak spineless so called republicans will soon face the fate of the party they replaced. The Whigs felt that they were just that much more superior than those who where attempting to correct the course that the nation was on back in the 1850s. Just like today's majority republicans. For the most part, they've become to comfortable in their office. They live with in the beltway and rarely return to their home districts or states. So all they hear is how evil and obstructionist they are. They believe this bull shit. Then once every two or six years they scamper back to their districts and or states to pat themselves on the back for being conservative and doing what the electorate has sent them to do.
Again it's BULL SHIT. When people like Cruz , Kelly, Paul and a few others do what they said they would do when they where elected, the McInsane, Grahmnesty, McSpend and Slippery Snow go all crazy and insult them. Not realizing that they have insulted those of us who sent them to DC in the first place. It's time to flush both chambers.
The trick is exactly WHEN to fire up the 3rd party. It must clearly replace a party that implodes & goes away. The biggest issue will be dealing with the MSM & the Beltway establishment who will prop up the RINO leaders like McCain, Graham, McConnell, Boehner, Jeb Bush, all of the progressive approved Republicans. They have religated themselves into useful idiot status, & the left must keep them in their place to keep us in our place. The GOP is dead, & there are 2 options...
1. revive & reform it
2. bury it & build over the ruins
...# 2 is looking the better option with each passing day.
That's all well and good but how might a third party survive to become a viable threat when perception of it by a captive audience is purposefully shaped by a mass media that is demonstrably beholding to one of the existing factions? If such a major third party were to emerge as a viable threat to the progressives it would be summarily destroyed by the progressives most potent weapon- their monopolization of the sources of information most of the captive electorate rely on for information.
Until such a time that we can unite against the common enemy that is the establishment and its almost infinitely amplified voice that is the mainstream media there will be no such major third party... so many who would be well served by such a political faction would be turned against it.
The only way to sway the opinions would be for somehow, the people were to find out that the Dems were behind the cutting off of funds to the low info, recipient class.
The last, best, hope is for Obamacare to hit them in the wallet so hard that they'll beg for Medicaid to come back.
Let 0Bummercare hit them in the pocket book and let's primary the RINOs and Moderates and elect staunch conservatives who can actually walk and chew gum at the same time, oh, and who can actually put up a unified front and fight like real men...not a bunch of metrosexual sissies and old men.
