Our Doctor now spends more time filling out BS paperwork to keep Obamacare happy than looking at patients. They also had to spend a fortune on new software and training for the same reason. Yea, well we of the VA Medical coverage people already know about how things go when the admin wants something.
For years now, we've been questioned about our alcohol consumption, and they've been quizzing us on gun ownership. I fully expect to get a lecture on driving my F-250 when I have my next appointment.
We all know it's bullshit so I don't pay any attention. Every time I go in for a checkup and the doc starts that nonsense I tell him it's none of his damn business and we move on to health business. My annual physical is coming up soon and when the doc asks about how much beer I drink I think I'll tell him, or her, that I slam about a 30 pak per day just to see what the dumbass has to say. I haven't smoked a cigarette in about 4 years so I may buy a pack to carry in my shirt pocket and when asked about that I'll say I smoke 4 packs per day. I get so tired of all the questions I'm about ready to blow smoke up their nosy asses so they can wonder why I'm even still alive.
One thing I never do though, and never will, is tell any gooberment clown about my guns. What I own and what they are is nobodys damn business, especially the gooberments.
I just tell them what they want to hear, and let it go.
I only drink a beer with dinner a few times a week.
