This is what’s known as a preemptive strike

Republican Ron Johnson is kicking incumbent Democrat Senator Russ Feingold’s ass in Wisconsin’s Senate race (he’s up by 7 points in the latest Rasmussen poll). This commercial demonstrates why.

Unlike some recent campaign commercials, it has no hilarious dialogue, no special effects, no lumberjacks, no buckets of water being thrown on witches.

But we love the way it preempts the attack you know is coming from the Democrat.

  • Freakin' Republicans and their freakin' inconvenient facts !!

Help us, Chief-comrade Obama, help us !!!!!!!!!!!

( sound of Dems being rolled over by bus )

  • It is refreshing that a lefty(cherie) pointed out a simple mistake like the minnesota one. Just goes to show, there is nothing, not an iota, the left can do to save feingold-and thank god. The man has had a major role in destroying Wisco. Racine and the surrounding area used to be a major, major manufacturing hub for the midwest-and now there is crime out the ass, unemployment out the ass, and more. Furthermore, the state blew off their movie tax credits, because of what he did to their federal funding-causing a major cluster eff, which won't go away for a few decades, and more.
While I understand he isn't the governor there, he has helped jam psychotic federal programs up the backside of the non-unionites in his home state, which has chased a few hundred thousand manufacturing jobs out of kenosha and racine and straight to canada and mexico!

    • While it is true that it is a Wisconsin race, they are getting plenty of TwinCities ad time for political spots. Plenty of cheeseheads in western Wisconsin get their news out of Minneapolis/St.Paul. So we are getting both Minnesota & Wisconsin, on both TV & radio. It's just getting worse.

  • If this man gets elected I'll eat my hat. I'm convinced that the last time 51% of voters wanted to hear the truth was sometime back in the 50s.

I do like this ad and more people should do it. I want to see "My opponent is going to run an ad saying that Barak Obama is a 2nd rate affirmative action ass-clown. I did say that because its true."

    • It may sound like OCMadam is rambling incoherently, but she's not. Her comment about "loading body bags after the plane crashes" is a reference to a political TV commercial I did a few years ago.

  • Right on... I'd vote for that man based on that commerical and some of my own backup research alone! I hate when people take these things at face value w/o any double-checking for the mere fact that anyone can take words said some time ago, and make them out to be bad. It's done time and again but for the life of me I'm unable to comprehend WHY people only go by what they see and hear not what they've researched. Of course, that's what candidates are relying on most of the time. Good post, and this commercial brings out Mr. Johnson's trustability. Genius. But ya kno, on afterthought I still beleive even clips of THIS ad can be twisted and made into a bad light by any democrat with enuf money. It's what they're best at. Demoncrats don't sit on committees in DC or thier home offices to help you and I, they sit thinking of ways they can get away with this, or defend that, or attack this person, or lobby for that amount. Sure there are some republicans who do the same, but these are mostly closet-demoncrats in the first place, who change sides in order to infiltrate a party or in order to save their own buttox! Yes, I'm aware I'm ranting. 35 hours no sleep will do that.
