Three House Republicans ask IRS to investigate AARP’s tax-exempt status. The video says the AARP supported Obamacare’s Medicare cuts but it also happens to make a lot of money marketing “Medigap” insurance policies to seniors. Conflict of interest? Why, that’s just raaaaacist talk.

Look into Media Matters while we are looking into tax exemptions. BTW, Sirius/XM gave those fraudsters a show. It's so bad, it's funny.
Strange, I always figured AARP for just another commie union strong arm coalition. Hoffa-esque even.
I quit AARP years ago.
Pay the fee for the lifetime membership and you never get all the auto-mail crap again. I like it for all the discounts available when traveling, like motel rooms, reduced national park fees, that sort of stuff.
With AARP or veterans discounts, sometimes both, I very rarely pay more than $60 per night for a room and I don't stay at Motel-6 either.
I get better discounts with my AAA card than I did with AARP.
So did I. In fact the mailings from them have ceased for me, as I mailed all their info back to them in the postage free envelope they provided with a note telling them to cease. Wonder how much their CEO makes??
Yup when they went ass over teakettle in favor of Obamanation care, I sent them a letter telling them where they could put their membership, They did call and try and find out why and I reinforced my earlier message. They said perhaps I didn't understand. This from someone at a phone bank..There's a upward mobility job, so I took the time to explain what was wrong with Obamacare, after about ten minutes the young lady said that she would cancel my membership. I still get stuff in the mail, but I return it, marked return to sender/not interested. Anything they endorse, I steer away from.
