To have an assault rifle and a 100 round magazine in the middle of a supposedly civilized society, that’s insane.” (3:45) Isn’t is amazing how they went from being completely unable to diagnose what’s wrong with the movie shooter to being able to forcefully declare gun ownership “insanity” in about 3 minutes? We think the real insanity lies elsewhere, like with news people like this.

Gun buyback programs are a joke. Last time Oakland had one they took about 100 guns (most pieces of crap) off the streets. This is about the equivalent of removing a pack of cigarettes from a truckload and claiming you made everyone safer.

That's the thing. If gang-bangers shot only gang-bangers, I wouldn't mind. Who cares? Another one bites dust. It's the innocents that get killed that concern me.
