Took him exactly two weeks

Took him exactly two weeks. Weren’t we taking bets about how long Keith Olbermann would last at ESPN before going off the reservation? September 9th, exactly two weeks after he started his new job – a job which contractually requires that he never mention politics – he launched into a nine-minute tirade about Russia’s anti-gay laws that compared Putin to Adolf Hitler and suggested the International Olympic Committee is facilitating future genocide.

J.P. Travis: Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, 1976 graduate of University of Michigan, father, grandfather, husband, founder and CEO of Travelyn Publishing (http://www.travelynpublishing.com/), and passionate anti-government believer in individual liberty.

  • He needs to " come out " from underneath the out-house . He just another hate filled Liberal that has hated God all or most of his life.

Domineering Mother , passive Father rarely produces anyone of value . It would be interesting to see if I'm wrong on this one . I've heard it so many times from these reprobates , " God is wrong for calling this Sin ."

In the end , the God of the Bible or perhaps maybe even the Muslims will have the finale say in KO's thoughts on life .

    • Ain't it strange? We have 70% of the populace on prescription drugs; thus, it's perfectly logical in their eyes that 70% of humans could be "made wrong" and need some sort of manmade fix.

However, it's OUTRAGEOUS for Christians to believe that 2% of the people could be committing a sin. Nope. In their eyes, there are so damned many homosexuals in the world that it can't possibly be crazy!

      • Noticed that too. He usually dresses well. Maybe he thinks he needed to "dress down" for his audience. He's arrogant enough to think he might appeal to the Bama folks with his retro Bear Bryant sport coat.

        • He doesn't need to dress down for his audience, but talking down to them would help. Dumbing down would be an even bigger help, it might even get him a bigger audience, since those who would follow him usually don't understand anything above a 3rd grade level.

  • There is hunger, grinding poverty, ridiculous levels of curable and/or preventable disease and slavery in about every country on the planet and the libs focus on gays? Really? Talk about warped priorities!

  • The mouse (Disney) will let this one go as it was dealing with gay rights in Russia. Hell I never watched his babbling ass when he was on ESPN the first time. It was apparent he had never played a single competitive sport in his life

  • Rush makes a truthful statement about affirmative action QBs and he is gone the next day. Not so for bathtub boy. Double standard as usual.

  • Not to worry, ESPN will fire his ass soon enough. People watch for sports, not ultra-liberal rants about social justice.

    • Yeah, can you imagine how many sports fans were switching channels during that nine minutes? Probably about 100%.

      • Even I wouldn't listen to it. And I wouldn't watch ESPN if you paid me. Well, unless there's a race on.

        • The only time ESPN is on in my house is when the Giants are on Monday Night Football. About 1x a year.
What really pisses me off is that this Sunday the Giants are playing the same time as the Bucs, so being in their market, even though the games are being carried by 2 different networks, the local CBS affiliate is showing paid programming rather than an NFL game!

  • So we have what, now - legal gay marriage in about 4 or 5 states? So, yeah, we can go tromping around the world snarling at every other country that has a reaction to homosexuality that's exactly what ours was about five minutes ago.

And why the snapping at Russia and not, say, Saudi Arabia? (Or Luton, England, for that matter.)

  • Hey, KO, here's a suggestion: go to Russia and say that to Putin's face. Should be easy, right, since your hero, BO, just showed us all how to do it.
