Without getting into any "core" issues here (first of all, is this for real or did The Blaze get Onioned again?), there are some interesting points to make.
1) We have always known there is an unusual and unexpected similarity between human and pig. That's one reason pig embryos/fetuses were always popular for school dissections, there is a lot more similarity to the human structure than most other non-primates.
2) Pigs have long held an ambiguous place in folklore and religion. They tend to be either loathed or revered, there is little middle ground in how they are viewed. Even in Jewish practice, many other animals are considered un-kosher, but the pig seems to be particularly despised: unlike shrimp and oysters, for example.
3) People and pigs have some sort of relation in folklore, as well. In Homer's Odyssey, when Odysseus is held captive by the witch Circe, his men are turned into pigs.
4) The similarity of the taste of pork and human flesh is widely-reported, to the point that cannibals allegedly refer to the latter as "long pig." I've also seen more modern references to "The OTHER other White Meat."
Well bottom line, the idea seems absurd, even if a monkey and pig could get close enough to actually accomplish the deed, which seems highly unlikely, I suspect the two are different enough genetically that offspring would be impossible. Just dropping in right now, gotta take care of some other stuff, but like Isaid up top, I think the Blaze got burned.

Ummm... Doesn't work that way. Really wish conservatives would stop publishing stuff like this. Makes us look stupid.
What's happened is that humans share a recent common ancestor with both pigs and apes. An ape can't have sex with a pig and produce any offspring. Chimps, gorillas, and the rest have 10 more chromosomes than a pig. No way you can get offspring out of that.
I fail to understand how conservatives mocking this kind of stupidity makes US look stupid. Or am I reading you wrong?
And I'm sure this top scientist is also on the Climate Panel, soaking in the grants and warming us about the evils of carbon.

That's not a thought process as I understand the concept. To me it is what its track record has shown it to be- blanket gainsaying anything posted here- impugn every source cited- even if it's a liberal rag or MSM after demanding "proof" to back up our assertions. It's a script to be followed and not a thought process at all... at least not on the part of the poster who has adopted the "Olivia" persona and has engaged in the criminal trolling here under that account.
What the troll-poster seems to accept as the type of support for the leftist tripe being spewed is dismissed as "parroting" when viable sources are cited for the right. There have been some well sourced and supported arguments here that get lost in the troll's personal attacks against the people making then- often without any direct address to the points being made... it usually isn't until the posts get buried under the volumes of the troll's hot air text that accusations surface of unsupported arguments- requiring one who is engaged in the "debate" to dig through the leftist clutter that has been purposefully used to bury well sourced posts that one might reference- which itself is a fool's errand because it would get arrogantly dismissed as echoing a biased narrative. It's difficult to impossible to find any narrative that isn't biased these days- and the slant favors the criminal regime for which "Olivia" is criminally furnishing cover for.
By aiding and abetting the demagoguery and supporting the criminals who have made it their policy to abrogate the Constitution the person behind the "Olivia" account is him/herself a criminal- this is no run of the mill citizen who is brainwashed and pleading the leftists case. The degree of sophistication in the posts- not to mention their sheer volume- are almost certainly not the products of someone posting between shifts as a nurse who has a life. They are the scripted words of a skilled troublemaker who has consistently demonstrated an ability to draw decent people into verbal brawls that among other things have the effect of diminishing their credibility.
Calling him/her/it "Oblivious" furnishes the presumptive cover of ignorance and allowing the account to play us as we have been played- and responding with the expected enraged indignance (I'm just as guilty as anyone here) only creates the impression to an outsider that the right is undisciplined and when we add blatantly racist accounts posing as right wingers that post stereotypical hate speech this forum is effectively transformed into a compelling caricature of Conservatism as a hate group whose members are undeserving of the rights and freedoms that we advocate. None of this can happen if we do not cooperate with it. I implore people here to ignore the "Olivia" account and any other ones like her that get created.
