Top TSA Official Stumped On How to Improve Airport Security. Where did the Obama administration ever find this Einstein? How about for starters:
- Firing the 70 or so TSA employees on the terror watch list for starters.
- Quit feeling up peoples junk and checking grannie’s depends and start profiling.
- Try checking the mechanics who work on planes BEFORE they get on the plane, not after where they could have planted a gun or an IED.

We could solve this without firing anyone, or making major changes to the program.
Just tell the TSA Agents that Muslims are carrying cash and drugs in their luggage and underwear. It would guarantee nothing dangerous would make it on a plane.
Fire all of the TSA police want a be's and turn it over to private companies who will be required to screen, train and monitor their employees.
Privatize, privatize, privatize
We had privatized it pre 9/11. That was a bigger clownshow than TSA. Hate to say it, but TSA is better than what we had.
San Fran has privatized security. They out-perform TSA in every category. At least it was that was several years ago. They were faster, more accurate, and more efficient.
No spats! I do think you're both right in your own way, apples & oranges. I would be curious to see how SFI did in the last round of 'undercover tests', when they send people through trying to get past security with whatever. Unless it's "classified".
The first thing to do to improve security is fire the idiots running the TSA and hire someone with a brain. The clowns are so worried about hurting someones feelings by profiling they risk the lives of the millions of people who fly every week.
They could call me. I could improve airport security tenfold, without adding to the budget.
They could take lessons from Israel. Their system seems to work pretty well, but then Cair would be butthurt and cry to the A.G. about the mean conservatives.
Japan also has a lot of good ideas that as a country we perhaps should try to pay attention to. Strangely enough also some Muslims countries seem to be exempt from jihad... what are they doing?
