Why isn't this being investigated as a hate crime? Flip this to "a bunch of white guys attack a Middle Easterner". There is no doubt at all that the Feds would be there like flies on caca.
This story clearly illustrates why gun laws will not make any difference at all. The problem is not in the availability of weapons, it is that we have a society of broken, sick people, What could possibly make a rational person get a baseball bat or tire iron to hurt another human? What could that victim have said or done to cause THAT level of rage? See? The attackers didn't need a gun, or a bat or a knife... they could have done this damage with their hands and feet and a few well-placed head bashes on the curb. We need to figure out this RAGE problem, and deal with it. Or at LEAST get these people off the streets.
Because we all know that Islamist's don't commit hate crimes, only evil white people do that.
