Trayvon Martin’s girlfriend unable to read the letter she claims to have written.
“Are you able to read that at all?” West asked.Jeantel, head bowed, eyes averted whispered into the court microphone, “Some but not all. I don’t read cursive.”It sent a hush through the packed courtroom.
This trial is a joke.

It is sad that she looked like she would rather not be there. Her attitude stank. They must not have been very close. She also seemed very ignorant and if she was coached, then obviously unable to learn. Everything about this girl is just WRONG. I want this trial to be over as soon as possible. It is really bringing on the crazies all over the place.
Notice there is a phantom "Skittles" fan among us again with the thumb down button firmly in his/her/it's grasp.....Censorship by the left for the left. Do not dare speak your mind for you will be thumbed down...Freakin' cowards...Okay fell free to thumb me down dipshit. Cause I know you is toooo skered to post a reply....

Sum moar of dat racysst stuff!
What struck me is that this girlfriend looks as if she could be 35 - not 19.
According to the article, after being told he was being followed, Jeantel "told him to run but he was almost home." So if he is that close to home, why not keep going? He's got friends or family there and a lockable door to put between him and this "creepy ass cracker" tailing him. Why would he turn back to Zimmerman, if not to confront him?
That's a really good point. The incident happened several blocks from his father's GF's place. If he was "almost home" that suggests that Trayvon turned around and went back. Which fits with Zimmerman's story.
Second important thing I took away from the trial in general is from the 911 calls that the prosecution was desperate to get in - they help strengthen Zimmerman's story. In one call, he tells the 911 operator that he does NOT want to confront the guy (different guy - in a black jacket and a "flight" cap). If he was chicken (ehem - "non-confrontational") then, why would this time be any different?
The prosecution wanted to use the 911 calls to show most of the people Zimmerman called 911 about were black. Well - if the people lurking around are black, what are you supposed to do? Keep a tally of how many calls you have made and NOT call one in because you have exceeded your quota? Should we ignore suspicious behavior because of the color of the suspect? Some people would seem to thing so.
Or it could suggest Zimmerman knew thw neighborhood bettet and cut him off in hia path.
That would be racist.
Distraction and demagoguery.
THAT is what America has turned into, "Distraction and demagoguery", & that is EXACTLY why America is turning into a sh!thole. Little by little, day by day, we are turning into a sh!thole, & you can thank progressivism & what it's done in the past 100 years.
Just to clarify,I'm not rooting for it,I just think it's reality.
Or would you like to take the bet Mr/Mrs thumbs down?
I get your point. Welcome to the club! Sometimes we do get phantom lefties who spin through and just randomly td us for kicks -- kind of a virtual drive-by kneecapping, I guess; sometimes one of our more enthusiastic regulars will td a possibly ambiguous comment from an unfamiliar face before fully understanding what meaning was intended.
I believe what you are saying is that the jury will be intimidated into a conviction rather than find a verdict consistent with the evidence presented: not that THAT has ever happened before in American jurisprudence!
I agree that is indeed a possibility, although perhaps I am still naive enough to have faith in the system. I would not risk a significant amount of cash on the outcome either way though! The only similar situations of recent history I can recall (OJ for example) at least resulted in acquittal, rather than conviction of an innocent man. And it is an ancient dictum of Anglo-American law that it is "better that 99 guilty men go free than that one innocent man should be convicted."
Finally, we are NOT privy (I don't think) to every bit of evidence which the jury gets to see. The defense MAY bungle its job. In that case, it is possible that a conviction would be in accordance with the evidence, and the technically proper conclusion. That's what appeals are for, of course. All to the point -- let's not get ourselves all hotted up under the collar over this, not yet.
And by the way, welcome aboard, if you are new here, I don't recognize you. (Or should I say:"Hello my baby, hello my honey!") (And no, don't take that the wrong way either!)
/3 TUs as a housewarming present.
I still would bet $50 Zimmerman will be convicted
Maybe the TD'ers are simply disagreeing with you and feel he will be acquited. Hoiwever I agree, his conviction is a slam duck. I truly hope I am wrong but I'm convinced that the judge is a well coached/threatened Ohole toady. Probably 8 of the jurors have an IQ similar to that Rachel mumbling buffoon and the other 4 are ringers that will rant and rave and intimidate during "deliberations" and drag the 8 idiots along. Yep, poor old George is going to be yet another political prisoner here in the liberal utopia of the USSA.
The message is clear, don't interfere with criminals, just get out of the way and let them do what they want. Don't try to defend your property. Or maybe point them to your liberal neighbors house as a good place to rob.
No, I think Zimmerman will get off. The jury will be convicted.
So $50 bucks? http://weaselzippers.us/2013/06/27/trayvon-martin-supporters-threaten-to-kill-zimmerman-random-white-people/
It will be interesting to see what actually happens. As I said before here a few days ago, I'd rather blow my money on a good dog race.
Or a couple cases of Blue Moon to watch the show with on the news from way up here in flyover country where it's, you know, saner and safer.
You have to ask:
1. If she didn't write the letter, who did?
2. Who coached her testimony?
3. Will she be brought up on perjury charges?
4. Will whomever wrote the letter be brought up on falsification of evidence?
5. Will whomever coached her be arrested for witness tampering?
All good questions, but you missed one. While we're all calling her stupid, let's keep in mind that the dumbass in the prosecutor's office who forged this letter was too stupid to know that school kids aren't being taught cursive anymore... so forging the letter in cursive was dumb.
I read somewhere that she had a friend write what she was saying and sent it to his mom a week or two after he was killed claiming afterwards she "wrote" it, more than likely out of embarrassment. I'm sure her internal spell-check is a fine tuned piece of software too.
I just skimmed it and going from memory, and I'm not under oath. I'll look for it if the sleep demons stick around much longer.
The question is - when was that story created? Before or after they figured out that she is cursive illiterate? I am going to go with after. Why would she have had a "friend" write a letter to the parents like that? Plus, she can tweet and text, so clearly she is not completely illiterate. Why would she not have just written it on a computer? (They have free ones and printers at school and the library). It is not logical.
One more thing - look at that letter. It is written in "vernacular", with incorrect grammar and syntax, BUT there are no misspellings, smudges or scratched out words. In other words, it was written by someone who wanted it to SOUND like an uneducated person, but who clearly knows how to write well. In other word - it's practically impossible that any of her ignorant, uneducated friends wrote it either. I would bet $100 it was written by a paralegal at the defense lawyer's office.
Karma I will beat $100 your a idiot!.A school system has failed a child! Who by the way is not on trial! However Your best friend from Peru is on trial for murder. Zimmerman and Jental speaks the same language spanish... she's from Haiti.
Yeah "justiceforallornone", Haiti, where they speak FRENCH, you assclown. But what do I know? I'll tell you, that the Zimmerman trial is a political show trial, & that if Zimmerman walks, many urban areas will burn. This will be encouraged by the likes of the "Justice Brothers", Sharpton & Jackson, as well as a few members of the CBC. My guess is Maxine Waters, Keith Ellison, & Hank Johnson will be more then happy to pour gas on that fire if that happens.
Words. Fail. Me. There is just so much wrong with this! I have to hope that this is a joke... no one could seriously be this stupid, could they?
I'd cut and paste that one to a Word file, Karmaa. You'll never get a funnier response to a post.
?
Full moon today?
Libturdism is rampant today.
What the heck was that? "Best friend from Peru?" Clearly another product of the public school system.
You mean a paralegal at the prosecutor's office.
Sorry - I meant the paralegal at the PARENTS lawyer's office. The prosecutors may be stupid, but I don't think they are that stupid. Anyway, yeah.. my bad!
And, for the record, I didn't TD you... the stalker is apparently about again!
Not as dumb as forgetting to have the TPOTUS in the court room for her to read from.
Her liberal teachers and her F*#@ed up parents are idiots. This young girl couldn't pass a 6th grade test. She is the only proof of what was happening at the time, and the first racially charged words came from Trayvon
