• Why are government bending over backwards to protect murderers and terrorists? If they are afraid that Muslims will go to the streets when offended, don't they think that is a big problem and perhaps they need to fix THAT?

• It appears social media, like everything else in England, is heavily monitored by the government so free speech is reduced to making bland, inclusive, non-discriminatory comments. Hate crime laws don't reduce hate crimes but they do make ordianry citizens afraid to speak their mind.

  I wonder, will the Muslim thugs who murdered the English soldier also be charged with inciting religious and/or racial hatred? They're minorites so, probably not.

• I wonder how many Brits noticed that their free speech rights began to erode at the same time their right to own guns began to disappear.

    Hey, on a related note: ever have one of those friends or co-workers who will tell you that your guns won't do you any good because there's no way citizens can fight the government? "The government has tanks and planes! How are you going to fight them with rifles and pistols?"

    Ask 'em this: "How come we can't defeat the drug cartels? Aren't they more than outgunned by our government?"

    Hell, how come we can't win a war against some pirates in dirty nightshirts living in caves?

    • It's highly unlikely that the government will be using tanks and planes against the citizens. They would lose their support from the leftist drones. Homeland Security would be the most likely forces to come for our guns, and in spite of their hoarding ammo, they are still impossibly outgunned.

    • While it's true that guns won't do much good against tanks, they are quite useful in dealing with barbarians armed with machetes, or dervishes brandishing spears. I'd better stop here lest the British try to extradite me for hate crimes.

• "Part of the right to free speech is to listen..." Okay, I'm listening and this is what I'm hearing...chirp, chirp, chirp. This is the sound of the silence just before the storm and the reason we still have free speech is because for the moment, we still have our guns and when they finally take them from us all HELL is going to break loose.
