Unemployment falls…. in Poland

Unemployment falls unexpectedly…. in Poland! Poland’s jobless rate fell faster than expected in August – to 11.6 percent from 11.7 percent the month before. The unemployment rate has now fallen for six consecutive months. The Poles are telling American jokes these days. Here’s one: how many lightbringing demigods does it take to create a job? Just one, but the trick is to get him to resign.

Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. Just to be clear Poland's jobless rate falls due to season workers working in agriculture and tourism, as well as some infrastructure is being built for European Football championships 2012.
As matter of fact we're in a shit up to the ears. A politicians don't know what to do with our bankrupt pension system (0,8 trillion dollars debt).
The Parliament election will be held in two weeks and the only right wing liberal party is able to compete only in half of constituency in the state because of "imprecise law" written by our parliament elites not so long ago.
One of the condition of liberation from communism was the pledge, that liberals will never be in power in Poland. So far the did marvelous job.
Don't worry guys our asses are gonna be kicked in the near future !

Obama's 65% job approval rating in Poland is one of his lowest numbers in Europe but that's still pretty high. Poland was always Bush's strongest country in Europe. Bush had good numbers in Russia and Israel. Countries which suffered under Communism and terrorism liked the tough guy Bush. I have a childhood friend who lives in Poland. He likes it and doesn't want to come back here. Poland had a history of being a conservative Christian country but they're sliding to the left. Pope John Paul II was from Poland. The Communists spied on him for years.
