I was in the IUPAT for ten years and was forced to donate time to the union. Once they put me in an office to phone bank for John Kerry. I did everything I could to piss off my fellow union members on the phone as they didn't know who I was. It was a blast!
I can just imagine you on the phone: "So will you vote for dumbass erm, *that bananafaced turncoat* again? Remember, a vote for Kerry is a vote for his new yacht."
Talk about arm twisting its time for the rank and file to bounce out the union leadership out the door.

Why don't union members revolt?
Some are.
As Mel Brooks said,"yeah, they stink on ice".
Because many unions act as another layer of gov't. They get 1st crack at their members paychecks, just like Uncle Sam. If people don't like this sort of activity, they need to make their states RIGHT TO WORK states.
