New Jersey public employee unions, seeking to block a law reducing pension and health benefits, sued Governor Chris Christie and other state officials. A gold digger met a handsome stranger in Vegas who told her he was a billionaire and offered her a million bucks for a night of sweaty sex. In the morning, he reveals to her he’s actually only a bus boy and the million bucks ain’t happening. So she sues him for it. Sounds like a plan, right?

The kicker is that the suit is brought on constitutional grounds. The unions are claiming that the cuts are unconstitutional.
I'll tell you - I'm really confilcted on this one. On the one hand, I can't wait to hear this argument. On the other hand, I know it will be so utterly stupid that I'm going to get really aggravated, especially when some moron judge upholds it. And there's a good bet that will happen. You see, in NJ, there really is no difference between the judges nominated by democrats like Corzine or McGreevy, or by democrats like Christie "witless" Whitman or Tom Kean. They're all screamng libs who have every intention of legislating from the bench every time they possibly can.
FYI - Chris Christie made one nomination to the NJ Supreme Ct - about 2 years ago. The senate president - a dem from a district that would elect Charles Manson if he ran on the dem ticket - refused to even post the nomination for a vote. He was offended that Christie "broke protocol" by not renominating a lib activist judge (I won't get into the details of that process. Suffice it to say that NJ Supremes are not lifetime appt's and come up for re-nomination).
These people need to understand that there is no money. I think this is selfish and unpatriotic.
"Christie Shrugged"? Tell 'em to go ahead and go to hell, and get your well intentioned (but somewhat large) arse out of there, guv. Try Texas. Or New Hampshire. Or a Dakota. Anywhere that isn't the punch line to a thousand jokes (well, maybe that rules out Texas) or home to people named Snookie.
