This story must be a lie! Evryone know that only Republicans would let something like this happen. The contract must have been written by Bush. Its the only answer!

Wow. I'll have to research a bit on this, but the airline I work for is experimenting with bio-fuels. The reason we are doing it is to lower fuel costs and has nothing to do with going green. I'm pretty sure we wouldn't wvwn be looking at the biofuel alternative if it weren't cheaper than regualr Jet-A. $59 a gallon? If this story is true, it needs to be reported to the nation with a full scale assault. Someone needs to be held accountable for this.
Of course it is the perfect way for them to hamstring our military without making nasty public budget cuts. Make the cost of fuel 16 times higher you get to reduce their capability to operate by 16 times.
It's just unbelievable. I wrote a column once asserting that the Democrat Party is a racketeering organization. It might sound extreme, but the evidence comes out daily.
