Ob GYN docs have always served transgendered patients. This is for treatment of men for pelvic pain, liposuction, and other more mundane treatments. I am a little confused. Ob HYN docs are actual physicians, and were certainly trained to take care of men, worment, and children of either sex. They CHOSE to do extra work to get certified to specialize in women's care. So why would they WANT to treat men? And as for liposuctin. that is a cosmetic surgery with its own set of serious risks and side effects. It should be done by an experienced, trained physician specializing in that sort of cosmetic surgery. I certainly wouldn't want an OB doing lipo on me, noo matter how badly I wanted it!
