  • Wal-Mart went through this same nonsense years ago when they still sold guns and ammo. Federal law says they cannot hire convicted felons because they sell guns, then the fools running the EEOC said they have to hire convicted felons, just put them in a different department. And who is the vast majority of convicted felons in the country? Blacks and Hispanics, just look at the figures in the penal system.

    Cabelas better look out, they will be next if this nonsense continues.

  • Obviously discriminatory since every city raised Black and Hispanic I have ever met are absolute GENIUSES at camping, hunting, fishing, boating and all things outdoorsy. And after all that written evidence, and 2 HOURS of testimony, they can't prove their case, so Bass Pro Shops are at fault? Bull. EEOC should come to San Antonio and find out why Hispanics are at the top of the list for hiring, federal assistance, housing, jobs, everything. Why does EEOC only step in to protect Non-whites? Here, we area significant minority.

Because calling the editor a MORON for some simple misunderstanding seems like an overreaction, no? It does say subscriber only content. I'm not one. It says something about free, too. I like free. I don't call people names unless they ask for it.

            I'm intrigued by the fact that some of us are required to subscribe and some of us aren't. What's up with that? Some kind of weird marketing strategy? I gave up on WSJ a while back because they only give me a paragraph and then want money to read the rest. Now that I learn other people read for free, I'm REALLY pissed.

          • I don't care much for their paywall, either. I usually wait until I get home and read it. Excellent editorials. I'm just too cheap to pay for the online edition.

          • NY Times wants you to pay. But if you hit a link from someplace else, you can read the whole paper all day long without paying. Shhhhh don't tell them they have good libtard stuff to post on IHTM..lol

            I am wondering if some popup blockers prevent this and some don't. I generally use Chrome. I'm going to try it on IE and Firefox and see what happens.

          • Bizarre. This morning no message, whole article. Now I click on the link and get the you have to pay to read. If I go to Goggle news and click on their link I get the whole article. If I Google it and click on the link in the results I go to the article, no message. If I put either of those links in the article it goes back to you need to pay. So, screw the WSJ I changed the link to another publication's article.
