US credit rating cut by Egan-Jones… again. “Ratings firm Egan-Jones cut its credit rating on the U.S. government to ‘AA-‘ from ‘AA,’ citing its opinion that quantitative easing from the Federal Reserve would hurt the U.S. economy and the country’s credit quality.” Well, that didn’t take long. Good going, Ben & Barry.

The continued uncertainty seems to be behind much of the credit rating debacle. No one is sure just what's happening next. Congress can't pass a budget, we are printing money like baseball crds without the cahs to back it up and the entire economy is in a wait and see mode for Obama to make a decisionor get off the pot. Our credit rating will never recover until we have a real leader in the white house, willing to make the hard decisions and stand by them. I didn't agree with every decision in the Bush administration, but you gotta give the guy credit. Once he made the decision, it stood. No blame for someone else, no walking it back. it was done. That is how real leaders work. As Harry Truman said "the buck stops here!"
I've heard the term force multiplier in regards to certain military equipment, does buying your own debt count as a debt multiplier?

Yep, I was back on live radio today and noticed one problem. I'm still getting used to the new teeth and when I got emotional my tongue started getting tangled. I got emotional when the two liberals thought the main topic of discussion regarding Libya should be Romney acting like a "buffoon." I tried to stay calm, but my tongue went berserk.
It appears that mine did too. Once again, my daughter poked her head into my room and asked, "Mommytard, why are you fussin' at people who can't hear you? Not to mention that Sean tried to make the argument that it really was that movie to blame. Puh-leez. When Google had the film banned in the muslim countries (in accordance with the laws of those countries) to begin with. It was the Egyptian government who aired the film on their news channels with subtitles added in (accuracy of said subtitles unknown at this point) to intentionally rile up their citizens. That movie was nothing more than a ruse, a poor excuse to feign insult and go forward with the pre-planned multi-country attack. Oh and yeah, Romney is the buffoon for speaking out against Obama's weak foreign policy when Obama stayed silent, went to Vegas, and partied with Beyonce...but by all means Romney is the idiot!
Google banned the film the day after, on 9/12 (Libya, Egypt).. Islamists news agencies had been showing clips for days getting everyone riled up. The Egyptian Copt in question is the guy who dubbed it in Arabic for their consumption
His Egyptian citizenship was revoked because he was repeatedly asking the West to attack Egypt
So what you have, in some small part, are religious foes both using the same vehicle to rile up conflict
