I still maintain that this is all about BB (Bathhouse Barry) helping a Muslim state to be on equal footing with Israel in terms of military might.
And in another case of "Liberalism always generates the exact opposite of it's stated intent", didn't Pres. No Ass say he wanted to rid the world of nuclear weapons? Not only will he make it possible for Iran to get a nuke, he's gonna start a freaking arms race in the Middle East that will have MUCH more dire consequences than the Cold War with the USSR. Because the Iranian leadership WELCOMES the carnage a nuclear strike would bring. Maybe Sting should update this tune...
