VA secretary defends paying out $142M in bonuses. Typical Obama administration – reward the incompetent. No they don’t compete. In the private sector you can fire someone, the way the government works trying to fire someone has become a joke.

Incompetence continues to be awarded in the government, and of course for all the fecal matter flying around the hallowed halls of CONgress, nothing has changed. What do they care, they have their own plan, which is where all the somewhat competent people went.
Veterans LIVES MATTER!!!!! that should be the signs seen on TV. If not for veterans all these pansy asses whiney about their feelings would be either dead or enjoying Arbeit Macht Frei at the nearest fenced off resort.
Its just time to force out every last burecarte within the VA and charge all of them for neglect.

As much as obama hates the military is this any surprise? The military and the veterans are just toys to be played with, a grand social experiment.

I have been dealing with the VA for years and not only for my healthcare. I have been an advocate fighting for veterans and their rights for years, very active in the American Legion for years, fighting for veterans who have had trouble getting what they have earned and deserve. I can tell everyone here for a fact, the VA is just as fu**ed up as ever.
Several years ago the VA shut down all the clinics in the rural parts of the country, clinics that served as a primary care source able to recommend vets with more serious problems to the nearest VA hospital. When the clowns in Washingtoon figured out that millions of vets did not live near a VA facility they started this Choice Card program so we could go to the same clinics we used to go to for checkups and primary care.
The Choice Card program, run by something called Tri-Care, is a clusterf**k in it's own right. Doctors in the program cannot refer a vet to a VA facility for more advanced care, they have to refer us to another Tri-Care doctor instead. It has taken me over 3 months to get an appointment to see a spine doctor to see what can be done with a back problem I have had for years, a problem that has been treated by a VA doctor in the past. This is not a new problem, the VA has documentation out the wazoo, but the Tri-Care doctor has no access to my files.
Meanwhile the waiting list at the only VA hospital in the state, located in Albuquerque, has gotten longer and the VA administration gave themselves over $1 million in bonuses for a job well done. Those of us in the rural parts of the state can see our local doctor but they have no idea as to who to refer us to for more advanced care, the Choice Card people have no idea as to who to refer us to because they know nothing about New Mexico or which doctors are in their system.
To add insult to injury I cannot make an appointment at the VA in Albuquerque, 150 miles away, because I do not have a primary care doctor assigned to me. In over 20 years I have never had a primary care doctor at the VA, I always went to my local clinic and they referred me when I needed more advanced care. A clusterf**k is the strongest term I can come up with to describe the VA healthcare system, as system that has only gotten worse since the Obummer was first elected.
One thing I can say about my VA experience is that the doctors are real nice and genuinely seem to care, the administrators are f*cking assholes.
i had my husband sign up for medicare when he became elligible, because in the va, they are incompetent idiots....then, having to drive 1 1/2 hrs one way to the hospital? it's ridiculous....when we call them for something, we never get them right away...it's hours later...the only good thing about them is the meds..he's on insulin, and it's alot cheaper, esp for the strips...and they come by mail...but he now goes to my dr...they way they treat our veterans is disgusting....when the brownclown is gone, hopefully some things will change!
They use the same lame excuse to explain why members of Congress are so well paid, and all the lavish perks. To attract the best and brightest. So, when does this kick in?

You may be competing for workers, but you lost that competition. Clearly, you do not hold people accountable for achieving results, unless those results are not seeing patients and not treating vets.

They are competing for workers alright, competing for the lamest asshole they can find. Employees who have to work for the gooberment because no self respecting medical center would hire them to do more than mop the floors and scrub toilets.

Makes sense that they are hanging out to dry one of the enemy groups as far as Obama is concerned... that group being veterans in need of medical attention.
