Makes sense. While I haven't watched her in quite a few years, and dont intend to for a whole lot more, I used to think she was hammered, but really never gave it much thought at the time. In all the jobs I have had in my life, showing up drunk on on drugs would be a instant, "Adios MF." But hell, she was probably doing some crack. What mainstream TV libber doesn't?

I only caught a few minutes of Sawyer's antics but clearly she was high on something; was it alcohol or pills (or both)? I suspect many of the talking heads celebrated Obama's reelection last night, Diane just jumped the gun.
