  • A few years back, I was helping out a female veteran with PTSD, giving her rides to her appointments at that very facility. I know that there's no way I could have gotten her to go across that line of jackbooted thugs to go to one of her appointments.

    • I'm sure you're right. This is just an example of the Obama Brown Shirts trying to flex their muscle. But you won't see them getting away with that in Texas, Florida, or any other state in the South, where the possession of guns is looked upon favorably.

      • I know they advertise late at night for illegal immigrants to register for service in the military. So maybe they are veterans AND illegals.

  • Well, I can honestly say that I have never seen such a thing here in Tampa, but then it's probably because there are no real gun control laws in Florida as compared to Kalifornia, and I'm sure DHS is afraid that they might get shot if they pulled that crap here.

  • While all these so called officers hide their faces and make sic jokes about veteran we see who the true heroes are and who the real cowards are. Making jokes or comments about someone being able to create IEDs and might have PTSD brings the anger to the forefront. This Gestapo (you DAMN RIGHT I went there) is wrong disgusting and is only going to end when the people stand up and push back. To ask questions of a veteran and refuse to answer questions that all sworn officers are to answer when dealing with the general public is something that is wrong as well. It is time to hold those doing this "exercise" as well as those who have authorized this "exercise" accountable. These ass hats answer to the people not the other way around.

  • This makes me wish to scream just WTF are you doing to our veterans. This is nothing short of a practice of Lenin, Stalin and other communist or fascists leaders. They had to go the mental hospital way in order to deny him his second amendment right. This help explains the psychological exam being pushed in order to purchase a gun. Before all you grabbers go off, I don't want anyone who is unstable to have a gun, yet those who have served are being violated in so many ways. Taking away their freedoms just because they express disgust with an administration is not a valid reason.

  • There's nothing the liberals hate worse then a institution that shows people that they can be successful through hard work and discipline.

  • My son was considering joining the Corps. I told him it was his decision but that I highly reccomended against it as this administration will not back him up in any way. They will use him for political gain and throw him away. Sad..he would have made a good Marine.

    • My son and I talked about the army or navy until Benghazi. I haven't brought it up since and now he's a finance major in college with no thoughts given to ROTC. He would have been an excellent soldier or sailor.
