Remember what Obama said about Detroit during last October’s debates? “We refused to let Detroit go bankrupt!” How’s that working out for you, Detroiters?

  • Hey JP, remember when the devil went down to Wisconsin and all hell was going to break loose and the sky was going to fall because Gov. Walker was trying to save his state from the same fate?

    • I bet all those ex-union members are loving the extra money in their check every payday! Wisconsin has dropped of the liberal radar since the sky decided to stay where it belongs. Gov. Walkers policies are working and they are pissed off because they have nothing to whine about.

  • There is one bright spot to all this. Detroit has one of the largest Muslim populations in the nation so they are all happy! They love living in filth and squalor and the farther Detroit goes down the toilet the more it reminds them of home.

  • All in all I feel like Detroit asked for this when they allowed the unions to have a lot of power and when they devalued their skills and in all truth people scared away the rich (mostly white nothing wrong with saying that) people from the city. They continue the bleeding by continuing to vote in Liberal Progressives again and again. I don't know what the solution is but definitely getting the gangs out and the citizens arming themselves, getting the corrupt politicians out and voting people with solutions in, getting rid of vast union power and the companies doing their best to hire american citizens and train them well.

    • Exactly the mind set that produced the mess in the first place. Funny how a judge can declare the bankruptcy illegal after all the Constitutional trampling that has been taking place- demonstrating that the law of the land has been quietly nullified.

    Remember the movie "Escape from New York"?...Time to put a fence around Detroit and make it a liberal prison.

    The low intelligence voters and Obama supporters can make it even more of a liberal nirvana. Peace, love, Dope, and liberals....

    Letting liberal run any city is like giving a 10 year old a case of dynamite and a box of matches and say, Go have fun........BOOM!

          • It's a waste of time Kimmy, he's talking about metaphorical gold that was supposedly taken before he was even born, in fact before most of us were born. It was actually confiscated by FDR, when he decided that he didn't want gold in the hands of the "common people".

          • OK. At this point in time it is okay to let that go. Also FDR was not a Corporation. So no matter what... Creepy Fails.

          • FDR still kept the dollar tied to gold though, it was Nixon who eventually broke that link completely. And yes, neither are corporations, but the Federal Reserve is, which are the ones that Nixon allowed to steal the gold.

  • Does anyone also remember how obama said he would cut the National Deficit by 5 trillion dollars? Instead, he added 7 trillion dollars. Where is the media watchdog that is supposed to be reporting on travesties such as this? We have entered an era in this country run by a governmental dictatorship that is in total cahoots with the media. As I've said before, it is like what happened to the Roman Republic when Julius Caesar crossed the Rubican- the replic died forever replaced by a dictatoship with nut jobs like Caligula at the helm.

    • Hey, Tired, as for the media watchdogs that are supposed to be watching out for all of the ethical mathematics mistakes Quagmire makes with our money, I'm pretty sure they're not any better at math than Quagmire is. I mean, after all, they escaped all of hard math classes by majoring in women's studies and journalism while they were partying in college.
