• What we need is someone to save us from these crackpot wanna-be scientists.

• God knew there would be internal combustion engines, coal fired power plants, and plastics. That's why there is an abundant source of resources for such things. It is mans lack of faith that is throwing everything out of balance. No doubt man still has to be responsible and not spew deadly gases into the atmosphere but I believe God made allowances for the burning of an abundant fuel supply.

    We SHOULD be good administrators of the planet as it is the only one we are going to get. We shouldn't wantonly destroy the planet nor do anything that could destroy ecosystems even by mistake nor negligence (and we should fix it if that does happen).

    However, I have always believed that G-d put all that was needed in place, making allowances for humanity going forward in technology and travel...

    With that said, if we explode we explode, we fry we fry, if we freeze we freeze and nothing that we do or don't do is going to stop it if that is what is suppose to happen.

• These people have their heads so far up their agendas they don't know which way is out.

  In the second of the 2 Steven Goddard links that OG provided above, he mentions the problem. In that context, it is an explanation for why something didn't go according to plan (i.e., the warmists' predictions), but it is an example of the whole crux of their wrongness.

  Contrary to what the warmists want everyone to think, no one is disputing any science. The problem with their theories is that there is very little science in them. Everyone who understands anything about this agrees that a certain increase of CO2 will cause a certain increase in temp's. It's what comes after - that is where we have the problem.

  The warmists put together what they call "the most likely scenario" (with absolutely not a shred of scientific or statistical basis for that scenario, but plenty of political agenda), of events which will occur as a result of the slightly less than 1 deg. C increase that would occur when the atmospheric CCO2 doubles - sort of a domino effect of climatological disasters.

  Now we are getting something it seems they did not count on - time. We are getting an increasing sample size of time. And what we are seeing is one after another of the climatological dominoes NOT falling. The disasters they said would happen are apparently NOT happening.

  That's the problem when you have people with an agenda making supposed scientific predictions. All roads lead to Rome - everything they predict are things they would LIKE to see happen because they all justify a certain political agenda. And if they all got together and planned it, or some did, or none did is irrelevant. It's even irrelevant whether or not they knew they were acting based on a political agenda or not. So don't be taken off track with arguments about who knew what and when did they know it. None of that really matters.

  It's no different than the press - as Bernie Goldberg described it, no one got together and planned an agenda - they didn't have to, it happened naturally.

  • I'm busy on Ebay looking for some old R22 air conditioner fluid. Just gonna punch 'em open and let the fluorocarbons find their way to the ozone.....

    • Forget it, it's now illegal to make R-22, and if you get caught selling it to someone without an A/C license, you can go to jail. Your best bet is to find an old A/C window unit and open it to the air.

• In other environmental news, this year the EPA has a new regulation requiring that, instead of coal, naughty taxpayers receive wind turbines and solar panels in their Chr...er, Holiday stockings.

• Damn first it was warming was destroying the planet and now its saving the planet from another ice age. Going around in circles just like a dog chasing its tail. That pretty much sums up this whole fraud.
