If government treated obesity the way it treats sex, it would encourage schoolchildren to explore their enjoyment of Twinkies, Oreos, and moon pies… What if government just went back to “fact-finding” Bali junkets and playing golf and left us the hell alone?

If we allow the stupid people to be fat maybe it will weed them out when natural selection happens instead of protecting their asses when they complain about being too fat. :p
All joking aside what we NEED is to make county laws that force schools to individually decide if banning snack machines is appropriate or not instead of a Federal *one size fit's all* blanket law. However the only problem is that it requires freedom of thought and discretion which we cannot allow.
It also involves removing the shackles of PC to allow free speech on discussions about fatness. Too bad that's impossible to do or otherwise the government really WOULD be heroes for stopping the crisis the humane way instead of thru regulation after regulation which usually doesn't work.

Simple solution...Goobermint needs to be Neutered. This mindset that we "need" the Goobermint to direct our lives is total bullshit. Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness, Not chains, no hope and no happiness. The US constitution says nothing about have penis police, food police, air and water police, religious police, or any other damn over regulation. Seems there is an awful lot of politicians who have no clue to our history, our constitution or our way of life. Just because you get elected to office does not make you any smarter than a garbage can. But yet for three years we have people who "think" they are smarter making all kinds of rules and restrictions, Hitler and Stalin thought they were smarter too. Unfortunately a lot of people paid for their stupidity. We are paying for electing stupidity every day. Look at some of the people who are/were a legend in their own mind, Wiener, Rangle, Waters, Pelosi, Reid, Obama, Frank, Boxer, Washerhands Much. I wonder how much longer it will be before we start seeing statues of Obama on street corners, and political posters like they have in North Korea or Russia. I fear for the Republic when we need penis police, or food police.
Their won't be any statures of "Dear Leader" if I can help it. Hero worship of a lying drug addict with no morals isn't on my list of things to do.
