What is the carbon footprint of the 340-ton rock transported on a 196-wheel vehicle on an 11-day journey to an art museum in L.A.? We suspect it’s about the same as ferrying the presidential entourage around the country so Obama can campaign promote “green energy”, but the important thing to remember is YOUR grocery-shopping trip to WalMart is choking us in greenhouse gases.

I guess it beats having Obama show up in L.A. again.
You know, I thought the Brits and Europeans held all the prizes for hypocrisy and stupidity, now I'm not so sure. Madness has taken over the USA, too. Sad, sad days.
This is just too funny. Most of LA is built on hills surrounding the ocean that are rock. There are rocks everywhere you go...so now they need to bring in a 196 ton rock to look at? The libtards in L.A. are worse off then I thought. And people actually gave money to help move this. There is a proud moment for some Hollyweird millionaire..."yes I believe in the arts and this rock is certainly representative of L.A."...yea overweight, stupid and does nothing but lays there.
WTF? How is a big rock art?
You need to learn to think like a libtard.
You need to stare at the rock until it looks like art.
If that doesn't work, you need to smoke a "rock".
Then you will have the proper libtard perspective.
I see a new career for myself. I live in Nevada. Not only do I see a golden opportunity to be an artist, given the rocks in Nevada I could be a prolific artist. I could get rich!
I could open my own gallery, sell fancy coffee and little sandwiches, and call it "Hard Rock Cafe."
I could have a theater for kids that shows Flintstones cartoons.
I never thought of myself as an artist, but suddenly I'm full of ideas. One thing for sure, I'll make sure people pay for my creations with hard currency.
Awesome! Good luck on your new career!
But, it's ART! It's exempt from carbon restrictions.
The rock is very symbolic; it's large and unthinking, just like Gaia's Galahad, Al Gore.
It took a lot of fossilized farts to move that art.
