We do not have such health insurance only because it was regulated out of existence.” Well, pols have taken to labelling any plans that make sense “substandard” meaning there isn’t any opportunity for graft.

True. Over regulation and regulation that makes it easy for insurance companies to become monopolies is the reason why healthcare wasn't working perfectly BUT it was working, what we have now is not working at all and definitely not for everyone. There were ways to fix the problems we had and this was not a good way to fix it. This law is detrimental.
Watching Fox News and the cute brother is telling me that over 40 K new laws and regulations will hit states and federal levels starting January 1st. In Illinois if a pet's leash is not long enough the owner can spend 6 months in jail. In California kids with their own gender identity regardless of the gender they are born can play any sport they want and use any bathroom they want.
*sighs* Some laws make sense, but some laws are just too domineering and too intrusive and too scary.
