What’s your advice for the Editor and the Administrator? We’re baffled. Our current Representative is Lois Capps, one of the most dimwitted liberals to ever plop her ass down in the hallowed halls of Congress. We routinely vote against her every two years. Unfortunately, this year she’s running against Abel Maldonado, one of the sleaziest, most self-serving, most dishonest Republicans to ever darken California’s state legislature. Do we vote for the honest, stupid liberal? The lying, self-serving Republican? Or do we just sit this one out?

Write in "none of the above" In the Banana Republic of Minnesota, we had a none of the above candidate a few years ago. Remember Jesse The Loon Ventura. That is exactly how he got elected running against a sleaze ball (Skip Humphrey) and a RINO, (Norm COleman). Of course Jesse ran as an uber conservative and immediate proved he was liar by being a big liberal.

Regarding your pending move, good luck. Really sad that the state that gave us President Reagan is so screwed up you have to leave. Maybe after it implodes like the USSR and the CA leftists are driven from power the resulting state will be better.
Always vote for the criminal when up against stupid. If Abel gets elected, then send a letter to the Atty. General to keep an eye on him. I'll guarantee you the liberal media will keep their eye on him. Keep in mind that about 50% of our elected and appointed are criminally or ethically challenged. Abel will feel right at home. Unfortunately, the stupid liberal will get back in, but that's par for the course in CA.

That would certainly help us make a decision but that's not really an issue. No question that Republicans will retain control of the House.
My advice is to move. CA is pretty much done anyway. Make your vote count for the next time around in NV or AZ. Otherwise sit it out.

Sit this one out! Your vote is sacred and you cannot waste it on either a sleazy and dishonest person or a stupid incompetent one. My guess is that your other votes will be spot on so sitting this one out is the best option.
