I identify those that wrap themselves in the American Flag and carry a cross as true Patriots. Right along with our Founding Fathers, of which the vast majority, if not all, loved God and Country. The ones that despise those who respect our Flag, God, or a movement like the Tea Party which espouses such things and a small responsible government are the true fascist.
I had an argument with a liberal friend on FB, that went on for days. I couldn't get a single point into his head, all he had was liberal talking points. Since he was a friend, I tried to be polite. In the end, I finally told him that it boiled down to this. He wants big government, I want small government. Reason? I can take care of myself, and he's not capable of it.
After that bit of truth, did he un-friend you?
No, not yet. I don't even really know who the guy is. My FB is more about my rocking horses than just me, and people all over the world want to be a part of it. I always look at the profiles of people requesting to be friends, and if there's nothing TOO objectionable, I allow it.

Seriously, if it were not for business interests who make their living selling internet access, web hosting, etc, (which you can freely chose to purchase from them or someone else or not purchase at all and no one will charge you a "TAX" for not doing so) you would be saying this stuff to yourself.
Simply put, North Korea has no corporate greed (because it has no corporations) and I guarantee you most of the people who live there would happily come here and suffer from corporate greed like we do. You may think business people are greedy, evil bastards and some definitely are, but you ain't seen greedy evil bastards until you've seen GOVERNMENT evil greedy bastards with ABSOLUTE POWER. Ask some people who have sample both systems. I have. You will not find a bigger hater of communism than one who escaped from it.

I am curious. Can you provide some reference material for this "ideal communism". Who developed it? Is it rooted in Marxism, Leninism, Stalinism? Is it purely academic or has it been tested by practical application? How is it that it is concerned with power structure at all given the general defining aspect of communism as being an economic and not a political system? And how does it function without making requisite the totalitarian state? After all those who benefit the least from communism are those that must contribute the most if the system is to be a success even for the shortest whiles. How do you override their enlightened self interest and compel their labor to be performed for the communal cause without the police power of a central authority?

Of course you can’t be suggesting that these greedy corporations are going to eat the cost . . . I mean they are after all “greedy corporations”. So the net effect of this policy is a driving up of the cost of living. Which is, in party, why the value of our dollars are diminished.
I am also curious as to how corporate greed is driving this inflation. Of course there are reasons to be made for this suggestion. But do you understand them? Can enumerate them? What is the Austrian perspective on the matter in relation to that of macro? And how is it the case that rampant consumerism can be attributed to the fair market system when that approach to economics would likely have produced interest rates forcing savings and austerity rather than cheap money and indiscriminate stimulus of sectors supposedly in glut.
