• Thing is, the Washington Post broke this story and made sure to mention Plame, as though "this shit happens so Obama isn't incompetent."

  "The disclosure marked a rare instance in which a CIA officer working overseas had his cover — the secrecy meant to protect his actual identity — pierced by his own government. The only other recent case came under significantly different circumstances, when former CIA operative Valerie Plame was exposed as officials of the George W. Bush administration sought to discredit her husband, a former ambassador and fierce critic of the decision to invade Iraq."

  But Plame was never outed by the White House, even though there's been a book and a movie claiming otherwise. Richard Armitrage outed Valerie Plame, which he admits, and he had no idea when he did it that it was a problem (it wasn't actually, which is why he was never indicted), and he fell on the opposite side from the Bush White House in the political debate about invading Iraq anyway.

  It drives me crazy the way liberals repeat lies until they're virtually "accepted wisdom" and the journalists aid and abet that effort. The special prosecutor who invesitaged the Plame affair knew within two weeks that it was Armitrage who outed her, but he didn't want to let go of his fifteen minutes so he continued the investigation for two more years, eventually getting so desperate for a payoff he indicted Scooter Libby for simply disagreeing with a journalist about the specific order of events in his testimony - stuff that happened two years prior to his deposition for God's sake!

  The Plame affair is one of the ugliest incidents in American history, but it's ugly not because of anything the Bush White House did, but rather because of the way Democrats have perpetrated a lie and sent an innocent man to prison for nothing to cover those lies.

• Anybody else notice that when Obama screws up and he screws up constantly it noted in the MSM as "The White House?" When something looks like it is working (but really isn't we will find out months later) the MSM uses "President Obama" acted.

  This was the exact opposite of when BOOOOOOOSH was president.

• When Plame was "outed" she was no longer a station person. She was back at Langley along with her dip shit husband.

  This was no accident in my mind. It was done with purpose and malice. Now this man's life is truly in danger as well as his family. Way to go quagmire and fools.

• Didn't all hell break lose when the same thing happened to Valerie Plame? Remember how much the liberals howled, and somebody went to jail for it?

  • Oh, maybe yes or maybe no. Who's to say that he wasn't "outed" upon Obama's instructions? Everyone is playing CYA in Washington DC, especially with the Benghazi murder investigation sitting on the horizon. The IRS and Fast & Furious and who knows what else... You can bet that the CIA knows were a few bodies are buried, a few scandals are waiting to be uncovered. Things like campaign contributions 2008, 2012 from overseas -- billions of dollars shoveled to China for solar power companies that folded almost instantly after getting grants. Money and Power, that's what DC is all about.

    Also, it could be all about drugs - something like over 90% of the worlds heroin is produced in Afghanistan with the Talaban running this racket. BUT, who is funding the Talaban? AND, remember that Obama is now sitting down and having talks with these snakes. Strange how that works, Obama is sending small arms and missiles to the rebel (jihad) fighters of Syria also -- who just happen to be members of Al-Qaeda.

    OR... this could just be "payback" to the CIA, or a warning shot for them to watch their step. Obama isn't done yet with attacking America.
