And the designer of the jewelry was "asked" by the White House not to disclose the cost of the baubles. Hmmmmmmm.
These brooches and cufflinks were made with native Hawaiian Koa wood, which, depending on whom you ask, may or may not be endangered or protected. As I read elsewhere, Gibson Guitars was unavailable for comment.
