• I actually lost some pay when the government shut down last time. It would have been worth it if they did not give all those employees back pay and everything else.

  Shut it down until we get a correct budget and do not give these people back pay. Let them know the President continues to veto intelligent budget legislation. Let them know who is hurting them and their families.

• I didn't have a problem with the last government shutdown and I won't have a problem with the next government shutdown. These idiots in D.C. think we actually care when they're not on the job. Obama even went out of his way trying to MAKE us care last time, shutting down parks and memorials to inconvenience people, but I STILL didn't care. They could shut down HUD or HHS or Fish and Wildlife or Education, etc., for the rest of Obama's presidency and I would be fine with that.
