I keep saying it... Government will never replace an All-Capable Deity. It is not equipped to do so. Government trying to be all things to all people is not possible. There were ways to deal with all the wrong that the industry was doing and there were ways to safeguard people's rights. Trying to control people in this way always leads to disaster.
The damn thing never was intended to work. It's all about setting the stage for moving to a single payer system that is controlled by bureaucrats. Who in turn will be asking all the important questions. Such as. Did you vote last time? If so , for whom? Do you believe the federal government is the one and only solution to all the problems? Do you stand for the constitution? Are you a member of the party? Will you spy on your neighbors, family and friends? Will you if called upon shot or punish them?
This POS was passed in hopes of giving the communist party (democrats) utter control. Now that they are seeing it fail and fail badly. They are pushing damn amnesty for illegals. Just to boast their dwindling ranks. If the RINOs like Boehner, Cantor, Rubo and McConnel can't see it or want see it they need to go. Either by the ballot box or the ammo box. It's not that the RINOs can't see it- they won't... they are complicit in the crimes of the undisguised progressives and should face justice right along with them.

And, they tell everyone what Harry Reid says, that they don't get what they were promised because of "Republican Obstruction", in spite of the fact that the Senate has the votes to put through anything they want.
They do it because it works- thinking impaired constituents believe it then vote accordingly... in other words as a whole we're getting the government we deserve.
We don't deserve it, we're stuck with it because of the LIV and promises of free shit!
We've allowed the disintegration of the family unit- which is where values are reinforced where people come away with the knowledge that nothing is truly free and where people have genuine concern for their neighbors because they've been taught that their destinies are inextricably linked. A strong family will impress suspicion on anyone that seeks to create divisions and sow seeds of distrust. It is at home where critical thinking is supposed to be taught.
We all (myself included) talk about low information voters as though they were the enemy when we should be trying to figure out a means by which the true nature of what they think they are voting for can be communicated... simply with few words (which excludes me as the communicator!) that will impress the importance of paying attention as well as being instantly suspicious of anyone making gaudy promises of easy fixes.
We're stuck with it because we insist on adopting an us against them attitude toward people who make unfortunate voting decisions and those who exploit low information to pave the way for their agenda take advantage of those internal divisions as well.
So many who oppose the elected radicals who are diligently destroying the country insist on seeing the policies as well intentioned, unquestioningly accepting the premise of legitimacy on which so much criticism of it is based. We have a rogue criminal regime under our nose deliberately creating and using legislative tools like the ACA to critically undermine the economy like a wrecking ball and all too often we get caught in meaningless weeds of banter about the launch of the damned federal website- without giving much consideration to the half-assed nature of that itself being a tell of not so much what the intentions are- but of what they clearly are not.
There's all manner of deriding the regime and its figurehead as incompetent but in order to go along with that I need to go along with the premise that their intentions are good and if we still cannot grasp that after nearly five years of demagoguery then frankly we ARE getting what we deserve.

You're right. Low/no information is the main problem.The Democomms have the media, including all the Comms at Fox these days, (I quit watching Fox also) pumping their BS 24/7. They have very aggressive and efficient ad agency/agencies with a well executed battle plan to brainwash the sheeple. On the other hand, there is the DNC infiltrated worthless RNC sitting around sniffing that they dont want to be called racist, or homophobes, or hate fill-in-the-blank. Paid advertising is the Stupid Party's only communication device, but the few ads they put out are utter milchtoast. WTF does the RNC do except give us a bunch of losers as candidates the media approves of, until right before the election and then dig up some skank that swears she was leered at one time by the loser. Meanwhile, the Democomm candidate is a child molester, rapist, liar, thief, tax evader and according to the media is an outstanding citizen who totally cares about all the people. The GOP is nothing but a Democommie punching bag.
You are correct, the problem is that this should have been impressed upon the LIV decades ago, when it all started. At that time, we would have had a chance to reverse the impending damage. However, everyone felt sorry for them at the time, we were a very wealthy country, and we could afford to help out the few in need.
Now, it has become an entitlement mentality, ingrained in them from decades of living off of the largesse of the working class, and to try to make a wholesale change in the mindset of the recipient class would be futile, and never work. It must be done in small steps, just like it was instituted. Teach the young, up and coming recipients that they are being groomed for a life of living off of the crumbs that they will be given, when they could be the ones making the bread, and giving the crumbs to other less worthy recipients. We might just have a chance of reversing the Democrats hard won war against the minority and poor people.

obummercare is working exactly as they intended it to. It's not designed to provide healthcare, it's primary goal is income distribution, plain and simple.
The goal has been, and continues to be socialized single payer rationed health care. It's supposed to fail in a spectacular fashion, to shock everybody into going along with it.
It's also designed to critically burden potential job creators in order to pour ice water on any real economic recovery. It requires that people buy policies whose government mandated coverages drive premiums to the stratosphere while establishing deductibles such that one may just as well not be insured. It is income confiscation.

Yet another damned piece written that was based on the premise that the true intent of Obamacare was to facilitate access to and reduce the costs of health care and as far as I'm concerned, all that has come out about its particulars proves otherwise- in addition it shows exactly why they had to pass it before we found out what was in it. My advice to these so called critics of the Obama administration is to start writing honestly about the intent of the policies and not take at face value what we're being told by those writing and voting on them. Otherwise, these "alternate" information sources are part of the problem.
