I think the words that would come out of my mouth would be,
"Oh, Hell No!" right before I slammed the door in his face.
My daughters would have never been allowed to go out with a male dressed like that. We wouldn't even let them go out with some inconsiderate boob who pulled up to the curb and honked his horn. If the boy didn't have enough balls and courtesy to come to the door, meet my wife or I, then the daughter was not allowed to go.
It didn't take long for the girls to figure it out. They learned to tell whoever the wanna-be beau was to be sure to dress decently and come to the door, never honk the horn.
The poor girl looks absolutely THRILLED!

my apologies for cussing, and i just got back from church too. that's how much this ticks me off. if ya gonna do it to get a reaction, maybe we all need to oblige them. i'm saying, after 2016, all bets are off. we must respond in kind... starting with the board of education.

He grew up in a middle class neighborhood in West Philly. He probably grew up better off than most of us here did.
Uhm... okay... If I want to be gracious I could say he is doing a Japanese thing or something to that effect as there are a lot of cultures that have men wear skirts/dresses like attire. The priest at church wears a robe/dress and he makes jokes about it from time to time, although of course he wears pants underneath.
Now if that is not his intention to appropriate the look from a culture where men do wear skirts/dresses and he did this for you know some other reason then yes that would be weird to me and all in all, not sure that I would let my daughter go out with him looking like that, but it takes me knowing him before hand to make sure that he is not a freak.

Probably thrilled the father to the core. This isn't some outsider high school girl. She is an actress from the Hunger Games. Nothing more than a publicity stunt that will help her career. Hell, he probably told her to sleep with little twit.

I'm with you. If he came to pick up one of my daughters like that, he'd end up leaving without my daughter and a pick dent in his face where his nose used to be.
Meanwhile, as I look at the body language in that photo, she doesn't seem overly enamored.
