‘You can go to the bathroom… but only three times each semester’: Parents’ fury at high school’s new rules. Here we go! More dumbassed teachers. If they keep this up we’ll need a special education section for the over abundance of special educators. In the meantime, we hope all the students ask to go to the principals office and relieve themselves in one of his desk drawers.

I don't see this happening in a preppy school. This is what happens when the federal government is in control stupid ass teachers and principals become all totalitarian on kids. Okay so fine SOME kids DO abuse the bathroom visit, but remembering school quite well, there isn't really a lot of time in between classes to go to the restroom and waiting until lunch which is also short is not always possible. The excuse or reason provided is stupid to say the least.
I think I agree with the goals here, I know when I was in high school the bathrooms were pretty dangerous territory and I avoided them when at all possible. 'Course as someone else notes, they may not be getting much of an education to begin with so who cares?
This rule will never be enforced, but I can see it's merits. I recall kids in school that always raised their hand to go to the potty. They invariably came back 20 minutes later....stoned. Even if they're not getting high, troublesome students will abuse the priviledge of using the potty to a point that it becomes a disruption for all.
If this an 'inmates running the asylum school", the rule is an attempt at damage control.
Then the staff needs to be more observant in policing the bathrooms. It is unfair for every student to be put at medical risk (not to mention embarrassment risk) because of a few stoners. Women, in particular, should be peeing a minimum of every 2 hours during their waking time. This flushes the bladder, removes stale urine (a breeding ground for bactereial infection) and relieves pressure from a full bladder. Most women DON"T pee this often, as they have been trained since childhood to "hold it." I have serious issues with this type of ruling. I also think kids should be able to have resealable water bottles in class. Most kids are massively dehydrated, another health risk, and also causes them to eat more when food is available. I don't think there is a teacher on the planet who is so amazing that missing 5 minutes of their class time would make a real difference on what the child learns.
They don't want them to 'miss out on valuable learning time'. Hell, they 're not learning any thing as it is. What about the kid with diarrhea? Guess they can just pooky right in the classroom. I would. This stupid rule could lead to intestinal or bladder infections too. Yes, I see a law suit coming. Oh wait! This is "O"s town so now we know who's bright idea it was. Mudshell figures if the kids won't diet then make em starve so they don't poot so much. Another one of her experiments.
What if they get a waiver from barry to poop :(
Then they would get a "Presidential Pooper Pass"....
