youwalkaway.com – “Empowering homeowners through Intelligent Strategic Default.” Don’t pay, just walk away. The pols have shrugged and said “WTF?” for decades, so why not the average person? Don’t take our word for it… Here’s Rush Limbaugh quoting Sam Zell on his experience lobbying Congress on Obamacare: “I asked the simple question to the first guy I met, and I said: ‘What about the 11th year? You guys have constructed this health care bill with six years of costs and ten years of revenue. What about the 11th year?’ and the guy looked at me and said, ‘I’m 80.'” Just walk away dot com.

Walk me through the procedure to walk away from our home. We have tried to sale it and we no longer can afford to keep it. We are on $2200.00
SS check and the house payment is $1107.00 per month including insurance and taxes. We owe $129,000 and just found out the value has went down again to $115,000. We are in our 70's and my husband just retired Jan. 2011...to take care of me because I have serious health issures. I don't think any of this makes a difference to the bank but we are stressing out on this. At the time I write this we have NOT been late on anything for over 20 years. Our credit is as important as our 52 year old marriage. We have some money in the bank to take care of emergencies for health, house, car. We dig into the balance each month for about $500.00. This may last us 3-5 years according to the emergencies. Somebody give me your opinion. Thank you sincerely, GiGi
Sell the house to anyone who will take over the payments then walk away and learn something from it. LIVE WITHIN YOUR MEANS.
What in the world are you doing with a home that costs half of your monthly income? Anytime your home, monthly expenses on the home and groceries, add up to more than 30% of your income you are in trouble. It is too late to think about profit, it is time to think about downsizing so you can survive the future and keep your savings in the bank for a rainy day.
These are some of the people that WalkAway.com targets. When you're upside down, nobody will take over the payments. Why would anyone take over payments on a $129,000 loan to buy a $115,000 home? Doesn't matter that the home used to be valued a lot higher, and now is near worthless due to Democratic policies. For some people, walking away is the only option. For others, it's just in their best financial interest. Either way, we all lose, the Democrats have sealed our fates.
I'm sorry for your troubles. How long have you been in your house? If only a for a short time, I would consider a short sale and alleviate this stress. Talk to your bank and see if they will help, after all they don't want to own it in foreclosure. If you are close to paying off, then I'd try to keep it.
Businesses walk away from bad investments, including real estate, all the time. Regular people are starting to wise up and use the same tactics is all.
Watch the cost of money skyrocket with your rationale. Also watch the demise of the 30 year mortgage. No bank will take long-term risks if this attitude becomes the norm.
This guy needs a visit from Seal Team 6
That's right - perfect message for the upcoming generation: things not going your way? say "F**K it" and walk away, let some other dumb sap shoulder the burden. Life's supposed to be easy not hard -- why saddle yourself with responsibilities?
Seems like the next logical step for a culture addicted to divorce, abortion and every other copout you can name.
