You can't even buy a precooked rotisserie chicken on food stamps. Not likely they will cover restaurants any time soon. Of course, I remeber when you couldn't use ffood stamps for food imported from other countries and that's gone by the wayside.

I have a pic of a receipt found in a grocery parking lot in February or March I think that records a purchase of 6 or 8 lobster tails and a few steaks, totaling something like 140 bucks or so that also shows that it was paid with the food stamp program. Probably celebrating the recent job application or who knows?

That was supposedly investigated, and found that the steaks and lobster were purchased to be resold for cash.
