If Barack Obama’s worried about finding enough cash for his 2012 election campaign, he needn’t be — his wife’s got it covered.
The First Lady charged lucky — and wealthy — bidders a whopping $10,000 to have their photograph taken with her at a fundraising luncheon today in Los Angeles.
With 500 attendees, it means Michelle Obama could have netted up to $5 million just for smiling at the camera, on top of the $1,000 each person paid per plate.
Just one problem. How are they going to get someone as bitter and angry as the First Lady to smile 500 times?

You would be better off getting $10,000 in $1's, & spend your time flushing half of them down the toilet, & then burning the other half. That would be more fun then having a photo with MObama, & it would piss off the eco-facist environmentalists as well. So it's a win-win.
Judging by that photo above, Michelle must be auditioning for the part of "Scary Spice" in The New Spice Girls.
I think that Michelle or her feckless husband ought to pay ME $10,000 to have their photograph taken with me, or with any other ordinary American taxpayer. Call it a downpayment on what Obama's policies are going to cost us.
That really is a frightening photograph. I don't jump on the "Michelle is a Wookiee" bandwagon, because when I first started hearing about her and seeing pictures of her, I remember thinking that when she smiles she is pretty, but why doesn't she smile more?
And that's it, exactly: a woman who, no matter if her upbringing was humble (and honestly, it doesn't sound any worse than my small town, middle class, WASP upbringing), has lived a life of extraordinary privilege and opportunity all of her adult life, and still seems so bitter and ungrateful. She occupies a role and a place in history that fewer than half a hundred women have so far, lives in a beautiful house (and despite sites like this where we speak the truth, millions of people do love her) and she still seems so angry. It's hard to like that.

I doubt Michelle is going to part with all that cash since her tastes have skyrocketed after being crowned (she WORKED for those pics, dammit!). There's lots more shoes and purses to buy...not to mention those fugly clothes she wears and they don't come cheap!
Barry better keep sticking his hand out for the remaining suckers that still cough up dough for his campaign that never ended 2 1/2 years ago.
