My guess is that is not far from the truth. I have a feeling that Madcow is the reason this beta male Keith Olbermann impersonator (from Olby's mid 90's days) has been on the rise at MSNBC. He brings very little to the table, & of course he's there to do politics. That's his job, & that is what MSNBC is, politics. They claim to be "the place for politics", & if you are a progressive, that is true. It is NOT a news station though. There is little in the way of news content, it's all political hacks & wonky policy types who are pimping progressivism. It's basically agitprop.
He said "I'm going to DO politics, not talk about it." Is he running for office, or calling for demonstrations to overthrow the government? In case the brass at Mostly Stupid, Nothing But Commies ever wonders why their ratings so miserable, here is Exhibit A.
