  • A travesty is what we have here? A young man visiting relatives during suspension from a Miami school for weed possession and now those northern backwood crackers are sayin my boy had weed in his system! That's racists. I'm getting Eric "the gun-runner" Holder in on this one. Bunch of homophobic's.

  • Nearlyu every day here in San Antonio, some gets killed++sot,stabbed, killed in a gang fight, killed in a car accident while racing. And every time, the news has some scraggly momma on tv, holding an 8x10 of the deceased, crying, and moaning "ay He was a GOOD boy, he never did nothing wrong. He didn'tdeserved this" I some combination or othere. THe fact that the kid was killed racing (illegal here) at speeds in excess of 100 miles an hour, or durng a drug deal gone bad, or a weapon deal gone bad, doesn't seem to line up with Momma's tears and moans. If you participate in illegalactivities, your chance of injury or death skyrockets. peiod. These 2 shouldhave come to this conclusion long ago, and maybe none of this would be clogging up the news lines.

  • It's irrelevant the Martin has marijuana in his system, the only reason its an issue is because the leftists tried so hard to paint Martin as a saint before any of the facts were in.

        • I was meerly noting that just because medical marijuana is legal in SOME states, it definitely is not legal in ALL states. Texas wll throw your ass in prison so fast your head will spin. California? Not so much. And based on the perfect child scenario, Trayvon could never have qualified for medical marijuana anyway. Conclusion? By using controlled substances, he was already a criminal.

          • The Florida Prison Industry would have to file bankruptcy notice if the stopped felony convictions for simple possession. This happens a lot when the nail some careless joint smoking fool and then toss his house, assuming he must have a stash of weed there. Then, when they find his .22 plinking rifle and a box of 1,000 .22 long rifle rounds for it, they hit him with a felony charge for each single bullet and each gun. Those baggies in the drawer by the toaster? Drug dealer paraphernalia. Felony.

            Seriously, they'd have to shut down a couple dozen 'correctional' facilities without the pot smokers whose lives they ruin to fill them.

            Prison is BIG business.

            One of Obama's mantras is giving everyone a fair shot. Every incarcerated user of marijuana should get the same shot he did

    • What does that have to do with this? Marijuana is illegal in Florida PERIOD. The state does not have a medical exception for it's use so Tavon was in violation of the law before he even confronted Mr. Zimmerman.

          Witnesses and the wounds on the back of Martins head prove Zimmerman was attacked from behind. Ambushed.
          That also implies premeditation.
          Marin's attack on Zimmerman isn't being contested, it's fact.

          Martin made a choice to lay in wait for Zimmerman and attack AFTER he'd given Zimmerman the slip rather than flee to saftey.
          Not something a person does who's in fear for their life...

          Now I'd rather urinate on spark plug than agree with anything DarkRacist, but Zimmerman should not have left his truck.
          Zimmerman probably shouldn't have followed Martin, except being neighborhood watch does kinda justify that act.

    • I agree. Stoners are not usually violent. OTOH, the injuries to GZ the point blank shot and TM's mashed up knuckles suggest that GZ's story is more than credible at this point. The case is unraveling for the prosecution THC in the system or not.

        • One of the favorite ways for people to get really stoned is to dip their joint in PCP, They call it a "Sherm"....Right now PCP is making another comback and the stuff is dangerous. These are the people you could shoot for being violent and they wouldn't notice it till they bleed to death, they feel no pain. They also steal Ketamine from vet clinics, that's they stuff they use on large animals to knock them out before surgery...This stuff was created during WWII as a way to knock out seriously wounded instead of ether and they realized the drawbacks when soldiers having brain surgery would get up and walk away while being operated on...PCP'ers also get very hot and sweaty and you can absorb it thru the contact with their skin...lovely stuff this angel dust...

        • The verdict at this point is irrelevant. TM is dead. GZ's life is ruined and both families are in turmoil and grieving. A very unfortunate chain of events.

          • And the racial violence (quaintly referred to as Trayvon Justice, a likely candidate for a popular new child name) that has already begun will likely ramp way up after the trial, no matter the outcome.

    Please let the Trayvon story die. The defense could play an HD video of the event that completely corroborates Zim's story and it won't matter. This dude has been tried and convicted. The riots will go on as scheduled regardless of the verdict. No matter what he gets sentenced, it won;t be enough. Sh*t is going to burn and he will die in prison. Thank you.

    • Fortunately these fools who will cause these riots will do what they have always done and that is Destroy thier own neighborhoods. A few non-blacks will be injured, some maybe killed but these nimrods will do more damage to themselves than they will do to anyone else.
      Just stay out of black ghettos and neighborhoods when the trial ends.

      • I live in a very nice, expensive townhouse neighborhood and about 25 percent of my neighbors are black. They are mostly educated and employed in the public sector. But there is a seething sense of anger from some of them. Not all - my neighbors on either side are black and I believe they would "vouch" for me, if it came down to it, but there is no real safety, even in my $350k home. If anyone thinks that I would be a good target for whatever warped "justice" they imagine, they will be in for a big surprise.

    • Sadly, I agree with you. I have never in my life seen anything so skewed, and so blatant, and no one is doing anything about it! It is indicative of the completely breakdown of our political and judicial systems, and of our society in general. The more we find out about this case, the more mind-boggling it becomes, and the more bullets my husband and I buy. We may not be able to stop whatever happens, but we are not going down without a fight!
