I am familiar with the British expression to denote courage and steadfast resolve "Stiff upper lip, old chap" but now I know too the expression that stiff.... Oh never mind, you see the image and get where I was heading with this one.

Caissons eh? Caissons disease ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decompression_sickness ) was quick to follow. Still it was an engineering advance that allowed for modern construction to make our current world as it is.
'Shadow Penis' disease has yet to be formally recognized as a hazard in modern construction and for bridge ornament workers.

Also a little trivia that will go over the heads of the libs who come here to bash-but you conservatives will know what I am talking about....the cat who designed this bridge invented Caissons, one of the most important engineering tools used in all bridge/dam building, bridge repair, etc. The guy was an engineering genius, even if he didn't realize how easily we would be amused in the 21st century!
That is actually Westminster Bridge-crosses the Thames right at Parliament/Big Ben. And considering the liberal dickweeds who work in Parliament, that bridge is a fitting welcome for them all!
