Abbott & Costello explain how the government employees union works

Who’s on first? What’s on second? And Barack Obama’s on TV. Some things never change.

  • You're kidding, right?

Helen, this was addressed specifically at the government union workers. BTW, there are several federal labor unions and not just one. But all are restricted in what they can do for their employees, employees cannot strike or picket in their work capacity, they cannot negotiate things like healthcare, either.

There might be a few dumbasses who do not earn their pay in the government sector (usually managers), but the vast majority DO work hard, pay their taxes and contribute to the economy. To paint them all with the same old bristleless brush is doing a disservice to those hundreds of thousands who ARE doing the jobs they are paid to do.

  • When I first saw this I thought, this will be silly why waste my time? But then I played the video and it was so right on. Abbott & Costello so well illustrate American unions.

    Great job and very clever.
