• Glenn Beck has been rejected in his bid to purchase Current TV, being told instead that he was not aligned to the network’s point of view.

  Current TV was recently purchased by Al Jazeera, news that prompted Glenn Beck to tweet about being rejected in his attempt to buy the network. Beck tweeted: “Before Al-Jazeera bought Current TV, TheBlaze looked into buying it but we were rejected by progressive owners.”

  • You mean all of them vs. talk radio and the internet. FOX is a joke. I used to watch The Five, but when I heard Perino and Bolling talk about how they feel safer with Stop-n-Frisk's in NYC, warrant-less wiretapping, and the government reading peoples emails, I knew at that point they were part of the problem not the solution. I didn't watch one second of coverage of FOX's (or anyone's) Sandy Hook coverage. The next major event that all the networks exploit I will also not watch. I will go to the internet or turn on my radio.

    I'm not one of these "FOX lies" people, I am one of these "FOX is full of idiots" people. The way I see it, they are the Republicans MSNBC and not representative of Conservatives or Libertarians.

    • I agree. There are only a few shows on FN that are worth watching. Special Report, Hannity, BOR. IMO, Schlep Smith is just another idiot liberal anchor, no better than Brian Williams, or any of the others in the msm lineup.

      • I can take Hannity until his guests come on. With a very few exceptions, they are always ultra liberal (read communist) loons.

        • My problem with Hannity is that he is a talking point machine. The opposite side of the same coin as any talking head at MSNBC. He isn't a stupid guy at all but I wish he dug in a little deeper on his topics. That is the geniius of Beck or Wilkow. Beck makes me uncomfortable but the man researches his ass off.

        • Beck is intense and gotten even more so after leaving Fox. It can be uncomfortable because it is the truth and the truth does hurt even to those of us that seek it and want to hear it. So I say that it must feel like murder to the ears of those that do not want to hear it.

          I am sure that a lot of people felt the same about Reagan but he was also right in a lot of his speeches about socialism and so on.

        • Reagan was similar, & probably viewed Churchill favorably, no doubt, & he loved Maggie Thatcher, so the connection is there. Now I know most conservatives are "Reagan Conservatives", & I get that. But I loved Churchill as a political figure before I matured enough to understand that I was a conservative. Also, it just so happens that Churchill is an EXTREMELY offensive figure to the Obama's, & I love that. That of course goes back to he drunken old man when he was in Kenya & the British rule of Kenya. Most libs/progs insult Reagan & try to cut his role in history down, but they ignore my guy, Churchill. If they knew how much he despised socilaism, they would hate him as much as Reagan.

        • I always had the impression Fox's shift over the last 2 or 3 years was a pure business move, they have their audience and no competition, so now reaching for the center, the only place they can grow their numbers.
