WOR’s Steve Malzberg interviewed new Florida Congressman Allen West and found out that he intends to join the Congressional Black Caucus. To put that another way, he will become the first conservative member of the Congressional Caucus.
We also love the fact that West says he hung up on Congressman Ron Klein when the defeated Democrat called to concede and asked how West’s family was doing. This, of course, came after Klein did one despicable thing after another to West’s family during the campaign.
Congratulations, Congressman West. It’s going to be fun watching you in Congress.

The way I see it-when Issa gets done subpoenaing everyone in the chamber, the ss# issue should be put to bed-and some campaigns are going to see indictments. I would also imagine that about 80% of the CBC will be indicted-starting with maxine and charlie, so it just may have to start accepting other "races" too, as most of them will be in jail! Not to mention the fact that by way of having a "black caucus" they are being racist....which I think is West's pet project-to show what they truly are in that body of race baiters and thieves!
The obnly way to change the "democratic leaning" of the CBC is for people like Allen West to join the Caucus and force some other points of view. I think I love this guy!

I predict West will be the first of the new breed of RINOs. Conservative CBC member is an oxymoron if there ever was one.
He'll either have to drop any conservative principles or somehow change his melanin content. The two cannot coexist for reason's I can't explain.
I think his intent is to try to change the BC from the inside out. It might not work, but you can't blame a guy for trying.
Heck Martin Luther tried to change the Catholic Church from the inside first...

Allen West will bring honesty, integrity and new ideas to the fossilized CBC. Currently, the CBC is a collection of aging Democrat hacks who haven't had an original idea in forty years. Maybe West can wake them up and get them thinking, maybe even help them escape the Democrat plantation.

I think the first thing he should ask is why the Congressional Black Caucus has let themselves become slaves to the Teacher's Unions. Seriously. How else can they explain condemning POOR BLACK CHILDREN to some of the crappiest death-trap schools in America.
This issue really kills me. I am a really white guy (blonde & blue), born in Alabama, for the most part raised in Pittsburgh and I can't understand how the CBC can send their kids to private schools while poor black folks are fighting like hell to get out of the ghetto....and the way to do that is through education.
Hell, we all saw the video of the "smart" black kid when he was beaten to death with a damn board. It's insane what we allow to happen in this country.
But they allow the teachers to use their kids as political footballs. It's freakin' criminal. And every time I see those two asses, Jackson and Sharpton, preach to me about race I want to puke. And that goes for The Jump Shooter in Chief too.
