Unless we’re mistaken, Paul Ryan has a big future. Of course, we’re not exactly Jeane Dixon, but that’s never stopped us from making predictions.
Here’s a very persuasive Ryan explaining why we needed to extend the Bush tax cuts and why he was willing to hold his nose and accept the compromise with the President Obama.

He sounds a little too common sensy to me. He probably won't get much play on the DC dinner party circuit.

If the Paul's can be burried politically or by the media they will die in "a plane crash", poison or sniper's bullet.
They are too informed and honest for their own good.
Very simply, he's the best hope and brightest light in COngress. Free markets can get us out of the mess Washington created. Let's hope the Left and the Rinos were listening and learned something from Congressman Ryan.
They weren't and they won't.
He speaks with common sense. So he won't ever gain the respect of the people in Washington. But he's got my respect.
