Yes these are incredible and a great sign (pardon my pun) that people are waking up. We have 8 different billboards at the major intersections in my town that rotate a different anti-Obong/Peloser/Reedo message monthly.
Hey Necron_99, no need to apologise about puns. They show that the punster has a higher than average command of the language and is above-average intelligence.
Case in point - have you heard any Democrats or their media toadies produce an even half-way decent pun?
And if you put this comment in a box you'll have a point in case. Cheers ;-)
Cool, but should have used a different shredder, the type that does it in long lines so it could be easily recognized.
It's about time we Americans got the word out that O'Bama is an idiot.
My state is stepping up finally, it's nice to see, for a change.
FYI: The organization is probably a billboard maker. The website is: http://www.freedomboardsacrossamerica.com/advertisers/
The owner of the website is UNIDENTIFIED. No names, no companies are listed. The site asks for your money to put up a billboard from the designs listed on the site. The "advertising companies" listed include Lamar, Fairway, Clear Channel and CBS -- all big contributors to the Republican Party. It is not clearly stated that the company doing the signs is related to these companies, however.
This reminds me of the billboards that went up with Geo II's image a few months ago. Those were paid for by Bush's publishers to promote his new book coming out soon. Who knows, maybe Bush paid for the signs himself. The billboard company was silent when asked.
Put a ring in the nose of some folks and they will blindly follow the crowd anywhere..... Who here is in the blind line?!?!
...."The “advertising companies” listed include Lamar, Fairway, Clear Channel and CBS — all big contributors to the Republican Party"
Ya think?
Here's an idea: get a little website together and do the same thing with your liberal/socialist ideas and sell them in the same fashion. Free market and all, know what I mean.
By the way, which one of the designs on that web site is racist? Better yet, what the heck is your definition of racist? (oh, I forgot, a racist is anyone who does not agree with a liberal - right?)
Get the ring out of YOUR nose before you go poking it around in places where you are outgunned.
The question that must be asked about the billboards is: Who paid to put them up? Most times it's big business pulling the chain of a bunch of hotheads who are too ignorant to investigate the sponsor. Just who is getting worked here, folks?
There is a difference between a disagreement over policy and a racist attack on a person. If you can't tell the difference, then, quite honestly, you probably ARE a racist. An ad hominem (Latin for "to the man") attack is an attack ON THE PERSON, unrelated to the issue. It is a fallacy in reasoning and should be not part of the discussion. Anything that attacks a person's race, nationality, religion, etc. in response to a discussion about tax, employment bills, etc. is an ad hominem. Focusing that attack on race means you are a racist. Plain and simple. No smoke and mirrors involved.
First picture looked to my like someone shredding the US Constitution. Second picture showed a printed agenda with check marks. There was no intimation in either picture of the displayed items/actions being connected to a particular skin colour. Nor was there anythng written that said or implied that these were the work of a ______ ( fill in racial term here ) .
Please state and describe clearly and precisely where you see "racism" in either of the 2 pictures. Otherwise we shall have to assume that you are yourself a "cracker hating" racist looking to accuse someone of the thought-crimes of which you yourself are guilty. We're waiting to be enlightened.
There is no attack on his race here. There is no attack on his nationality even and definetly not about hsi religion. The billboards are not racists. The billboards actually are all about policies and how they have failed and how people need to wake up to the REALITY vs Obama's lies of hope and change.
Absolutely agree 100%. Millions of Americans and we really don't have a voice although I'll do my talking in the November 2010 midterms. I really wish that more Americans, especially the 78% who are GAINFULLY employed, realized how bad it is out there for the unemployed.
Love all the truthful billboards! More please...
OT - if you are following the anti-mega Islamic mosque being planned for 600 feet next to 9/11's ground zero location in NY, HillBuzz has some great suggestions: PIG ART everywhere in Manhattan! (love it)... read up at: http://hillbuzz.org/2010/05/15/action-item-here-is-how-we-stop-the-mega-mosque-at-ground-zero-by-filling-lower-manhattan-surrounding-the-mosques-site-with-pig-themed-public-art/
You beat me to it, Lisa! I would add that the welcome wagons be stocked with pig-blood pudding.
