Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik has made himself judge, jury and sounds as if he’d like to complete the trifecta and become the executioner. But of talk show host Rush Limbaugh, not of Jared Loughner.
Dupnik announced that the talk show host is “irresponsible” for his vitriolic comments.
ABC News has the Dupnik details:
“The kind of rhetoric that flows from people like Rush Limbaugh, in my judgment he is irresponsible, uses partial information, sometimes wrong information,” Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik said today.
“[Limbaugh] attacks people, angers them against government, angers them against elected officials and that kind of behavior in my opinion is not without consequences.”
Limbaugh today railed against the media and Dupnik for trying to draw a link between the heated political climate and the shooting rampage, calling the sheriff a “fool.” But Dupnik stood by his assertions.
“The vitriol affects the [unstable] personality that we are talking about,” he said. “You can say, ‘Oh no, it doesn’t,’ but my opinion is that it does.”
Pot, meet kettle: Dupnik seems to be an expert when it comes to vitriol. He decided no investigation was necessary because he knew exactly what motivated Jared Loughner within minutes of the shooting.
At the risk of using a phrase that Dupnik might call vitriolic and irresponsible, one might call his actions a clear case of, “Ready, fire, aim.”

What an interesting state Arizona is. First they elect a wonderful governor, then they overwhelmingly pass SB-1070, but then their biggest county has Dipstick for Chief of the Sheriffs. How many liberals do you know, that are in law enforcement? I know of none, (excepting Dipstick) I'm sure EoE hiring policies require at least one in San Francisco, but ARIZONA??? What's in their drinking water?

If memory serves and my election ticket research last year was correct, the Pima County political machine runs on the Democrat Ticket. So is anyone surprised by Dupnik and the "Circus of the Absurd" he's been ring master of for God knows how many years?
Bottom line to all of this libtard finger pointing nonsense is: God forbid Jared Loughner should be held solely responsible for his own actions, because that would mean we're all solely responsible for our own actions... and in the "Progressive/Entitlement Mentality Sector" personal responsibility is like Kryptonite to Superman.

In other words, the esteemed sheriff would have the whole country behave/speak/act for the lowest common denominator. Hmm. But of course! They already are pursuing that, or are well on the way to that state in our schools. The results are painfully obvious, especially to anyone who ever had a need to hire a young person just out of school. Now they want to turn the whole country into a group therapy session. Don't ever say anything that might get someone riled up, or offended, or hurt their self-esteem, and as a result, don't ever rise to greatness, or for that matter, achieve or produce anything. Yep, sounds like a plan to me!
Rush posed the question of how right-wing talk radio is to be blamed for this but the violence and everything else the liberal Hollywood left puts out is not to be blamed for anything.
In the Sheriff's case the old adage "opinions are like a-holes, everyone has one" certainly applies.

This "lawman" is incredibly irresponsible and he needs to not have that job anymore. It is not his job to have "opinions" it is his job to investigate facts. His political opinions should take a back seat. He needs to go away.
This sheriff is the same senile bastard who got two major facts wrong at his own briefing - and had to be corrected by one of the victims. He must eat his doughnuts with the crowd at the University of Arizona- you know the tree hugging crow which rips off native american art and resells it on ebay, gets free housing and medical care, and loves illegal immigration because they can give illegals a chance at a better life cleaning their toilets

I heard this guy while litening to Sean Hannity last night. I heard him again while listening to Michael Savage and then again while I was listening to Mark Levin. I got the trefecta and I have to tell ya...this guy's a shill, a 'useful idiot' as Lennin used to call them. I really think the people of Tucson, AZ should put this ol' fart out to pasture.
I was watching Red Eye the other night, & Harris Faulkner was 1 of the panelists. She was saying her husband, who is from Tucson, AZ & he says that this Dupnik has been around forever & that his act here is really no suprise. AZ may have the worst sheriff in th nation in Dubnik, & the greatest off all time in Arpaio. I really hope that this is the end of Dubnik's law enforcement career, he's an ass.
Isn't that crazy? Even O'Reilly realized the polar opposites sheriffs last night. He just couldnt believe that only one county away of one another there are two completely different sheriffs and two groups people living in two different counties BUT in the same state could vote for polar opposites like this.
