Hollywood bimbo Ashley Judd compares strip mining to spousal rape

Hollywood airhead Ashley Judd spoke at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. If only she had just stood there looking hot instead of opening her pie hole.

Judd delighted the assembled press corps her opinions on “the horrors of strip mining”, which she compared to spousal rape.

One would be tempted to think that Judd was a committed environmentalist, except for the fact that she’s married to Scottish auto racer Dario Franchitti. Franchitti races IndyCars and NASCAR (in fact, he just won this year’s Indy 500). He also flies helicopters. The environmentally-concerned duo jet back and forth between homes in Scotland and the United States. In other words, they suck up more energy than the average coal mine produces.

Normally, we hate hypocritical environmentalists who says, “It’s good for thee, but not for me.” But we’re willing to overlook Judd’s transgressions because she’s really hot.

We do have our standards, you know.

  • When will actors, singers, and athletes learn that we don't care what they think? About anything?!

    • Don't hold your breath, Alan. With a big part of the world hanging on every word they speak, every move they make, every baby they either have of adopt, every item of clothing they wear, they have no choice but to actually believe that they are important.

  • Let me understand this. We are married to the Earth, the Earth is our spouse and hence when we do things like strip mining etc we are indeed raping our spouse... the Earth. Is that correct Ashley?

She is sooooo smart when she is saying someone else's lines that a writer wrote for her and that she acts out, but she talks about the environment and about Palin cruel hunting wolf laws* she is just sounds like another raving lunatic.

*Shooting down wolf population (basically controlling it) ensures that the population of deers (etc) thrives, but she failed to mentioned that when she was talking about it a year or so ago.

    • actually the wolf population(specifically the gray wolf) that has been forced into areas where it shouldn't have been, is not only killing livestock, but they carry a disease that is killing humans.
But then, when have you ever heard of a hollywood-ite libtard actually knowing what they are talking about? They just echo what one of the "cool stars" says over and over and over.
She has the brain power of ashton kutcher, with a little bit of pamela anderson sprinkled on top. She would die of starvation, if her husband didn't show her where the kitchen is every day!

  • I watched her running down the asphalt at INDY to greet her husband. Yes she is a celebutard and an airhead. Now I have seen a number of her movies. I've seen her over a number of years. Even from the screen shot on this story you can see that she has put on a considerable amount of weight. I could not believe it was her at Indy. She had this weird gauzy dress on and her upper arms looked fat and flabby. She looks jowly, not like she did several years ago. She WAS hot, but now she's NOT! And as to why some of you engage in verbal fisticuffs with others,... I can't figure out. Take a breath and relax. Geesh!

    • Wow, so she HAS gained weight. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. Of course, I haven't seen any other pictures of her in a long while--I've been avoiding TV...

  • Ashly try this instead,
Love me one time, you could not speak.
Love me one time, yeaaah my knees got weak!!
    One for tommorrow,
    One just for today.
    Love me two times babe.

    • Mr. Morrison-I have visited your grave in Paris. Please tell me you are back?! While I loved the sound of Ian Astbury "filling in" for you with the Doors of teh 21st century, or whatever they called themselves(with Stu Copeland on skins), I would still rather have you out there!
      Matt

    • Hey, quit bitching. At least you can look at her, while someone like Rosie makes you wish you were blind.

  • Ashley should stick to memorizing movie scripts. She's not very convincing when she reads something like this. And regarding the NPC.. I'll admit that I know squat about them and how they go about choosing who they let stand at their podium, but if they consider this kind of ridiculous statement to be credible, in my opinion they have very low standards.

  • Love it when an actor reads their lines. It seems their level of commitment is directly related to how much they rehearse.

  • Today is one of the rare occasions when I disagree with IHTM.
When a beautiful woman opens her mouth and sewage, idiocy
and ignorance comes out, it diminishes vastly, the hotness that
    was once so pronounced.
This woman, though pretty, lost the hotness factor, when she
pulled a whoopi goldberg and made "light" of rape. It is dummies
like Judd, whoopi, and much of the rest of the liberal turds in
Holllywood who make me scratch my head and ask simply-"is the
public education system in this country that bad....has it gotten
so bad that this is they type of simpleton it produces?" And what about
these "strong hollywood women"? What about their standing up for womens
rights, etc-they fight for the right to murder babies, but they instantly mitigate
any strength they appear to have, when they minimize what rape is, by comparing it to things like strip mining!
Personally speaking-I will never see a movie again with her in the cast!

    • Matt is absolutely right. She was very hot, now she's a not. Whiny little hypocrite. I'd love to see her size 42 ass get kicked out of Rupp Arena the next time her sewage filled mouth steps foot in Lexington. Applause to Matt for calling a kettle a kettle, or in this case, a dumb b--ch a dumb b--ch.

    • I'm there with you on the disappointed aspect of her words diminishing her hotness. She's a beautiful (and talented) woman but I couldn't make it through even 30 seconds of her self-righteous dialogue...

    • It's called sarcasm, dildo. Does the "s" stand for "shit-for-brains?" If you aspire to be a blogger, why not take a writing class and save the rest of us seeing your half-page pontifications at every post?

      • dumb fu*k-I know what sarcasm is. And I took it a bit further by saying that even someone as hot as her has the wind taken out of her sails when she is such a dumbass. If you don't like what I write-don't read it!

        • Matthew,

My guess is some tune in here to be entertained - some to learn, and some for a bit of both - which is what I do. I even read the stuff hidden because maybe I'll learn something.

Some of my comments resulted in positive comments - some negative. Because almost all of us are incognito, it really doesn't matter.

Write what you will. Sometimes I read it all, other times I don't. Someone much smarter than me once said never explain. Your friends don't need it and your enemies won't believe it.

Screw the critics - don't even answer those with lives so bad they amuse themselves by insulting others.

          • Mistella-normally I wouldn't respond-but it was a personal attack-and it did rub me a little the wrong way(much the way major league baseball did when barry threw out the first pitch this season on opening day-may as well of had Fidel fly in for the honors).
But, thanks just the same for the kind words-sage advice, and encouragement.
I like this site more than all others political-simply because it makes me laugh.......that doesn't mean that a serious retort isn't appropriate for everything herein.
As one can plainly tell-the editors/writers here are smart enough to read between the lines of every story they post-and while all are funny-many totally hilarious-they are, in my opinion posted for the sole purpose of sparking dialogue.
My anger is often assuaged after 15 minutes here in the am-and that is a great thing. Further, besides a retard liberal with his head wedged firmly in his rectum, almost all of the responses to my posts are positive(save the regular suggestion to shorten my stuff).
            Thanks-Matt
