Beer isn’t just a beverage in Australia. It’s a golden elixir. The lifeblood of the nation. The liquid that makes life worth living. So you’d expect the Aussies to make great beer commercials.
This one is vaguely reminiscent of the Bud Light’s True Men of Genius campaign, but much bigger, much wackier, much funnier.
That being said, we don’t understand some of the Aussie slang in the commercial, but guessing makes it even funnier.
Perhaps some of our Aussie readers could explain the meaning of “The Azzas,” “Blokes Punching above their weight” (we think that one might mean, “Guys with women they don’t deserve”), “Meat Tray Winners” and “Cashed Up Bogans.”

Men who should've read the directions!!! Oh the beauty of knowing that is a world wide species trait!
I love how they used the "Soldiers' Chorus" from the Gounod opera, "Faust," as the background music. Great choice all around!

If all ads were this cool, I'd watch them voluntarily and even consider buying what they are selling just for the entertainment value alone.
I'm Australian and found this link on Reddit.
The sign says "the Azzas" and then they go on to say "the Dazzas", "the Shazzs", "the Bazzas" which shows they're grouping people together with common yobbo names (Darren, Sharron, Barry), which is a slang term for an uncouth or thuggish blue collar person. The term "yobbo" is interchangeable with "bogan" or "chav (if you're British)".
You've got "Punching above their weight" right.
“Meat Tray Winners” are people who win trays of meat in Bowling Club raffles (generally).
And cashed up bogans are pretty much the same thing as mentioned in the yobbo description, but rich.
But while we're here, this is far from the best Australian beer ad that I've seen. I'd link them here but there's far too many to bother with. Just search "Australian beer ad" or " ad" on YouTube and you should find them.
