Treasury: Employers must “self-attest” that ObamaCare not behind staffing decisions – under penalty of perjury. “Treasury officials said Monday that businesses will be told to ‘certify’ that they are not shedding full-time workers simply to avoid the mandate. Officials said employers will be told to sign a ‘self-attestation’ on their tax forms affirming this, under penalty of perjury.” Wow, talk about over-reach – there’s nothing in the stupid law that says a business CAN’T fire people to avoid the mandate. Fed is misled by Wealth Effect. “With so few people actually invested in the results of the stock market, how can it have such a broad effect on consumer spending? It doesn’t, unless the Fed wants to make the case that it is driven primarily by the trickle-down effect. I doubt they would want to do so for obvious political reasons.” But that’s exactly what the Fed is hoping for, though they dare not say so because the Left spent two decades whining about it after Reagan cut taxes. Truth is, the Reagan cuts were broad-based, the “wealth effect” BS isn’t.

Sheila Jackson Lee: Writing executive orders for Obama to sign ‘our number one agenda’. If she has any hand in writing them, Obama may end up signing an order moving the entire capitol to one of the two Vietnams (or perhaps, Mars)… to which we say, “GO FOR IT!”

$500 million Obama anti-obesity effort fails to accomplish anything. “Obama” and “fail”, how often do you hear those two words together in a sentence? Just about every day: “Adding supermarkets to areas with short supplies of fresh produce does not lead to improvements in residents’ diets or health outcomes…” In other words, if you build it, they still won’t come.

CBO: Obamacare will push 2 million workers out of labor market. “…a major jump in the nonpartisan budget agency’s projections and it suggests the health care law’s incentives are driving businesses and people to choose government-sponsored benefits rather than work.” When this story runs in the Democrat-Media, the headline will be “CBO Taken Over By RAAAAAACISTS!”
